Zoe, My Baby Girl

This page is dedicated to my baby girl, Zoe.
I got her from a lady who owned a no-kill shelter out in the country, who had rescued Zoe from the pound the day before she was to be euthanized. In August of 2001, I had just been through some of the most traumatic events of my entire life, and on top of everything that had happened to me, my cat Goldie who I'd had since I was a little kid, died. So I actually went to the shelter with the intention on adopting another cat. But have you ever layed your eyes on an animal or a person, and something just clicks? And you don't doubt it for a second, you just know it's meant to be? Well, that's what happened when I layed eyes on this chubby little 6-week old Border Collie mix. I was in love. She was my baby, and came home with me that night. She remains my special baby girl to this day.
So without further adeu, I give you Zoe.
