Introduction

I am providing you with an free interactive method to construct your hexagram. Even if you do not get readings from me you are still welcome to use this area at anytime. These Iching pages took me along time to prepare. I didn't know what I was getting myself into. I hope they make it easier for you. I am making it impossible for you to question yourself or mess up your reading. There is no hastle of having to draw the lines. Everything is done for you. All you need to do is toss the coins then refer to the table below and click on the block that best describes what you see after you tossed your coins. Then as you are continuing to toss and click. You will begin to see your hexagram constructed for you. So you still interact but I save you the hastle of writing everything down. Hopefully this is easier for you.

Object

The object is to construct a hexagram by casting coins. Trigrams and Hexagrams are constructed by using yin and yang lines and building in an upward fashion. To determine if it is a yin line or a yang line we simply toss the pennies. A Hexagram is made made by putting 2 trigrams together. So we must construct 2 trigrams as we are tossing the coins. You will toss the coins 3 times for each trigram. So this means you will be tossing the coins a total of 6 times. Each time you toss look at your coins to see how many heads you have and how many tails you have then click on the link in the boxes below that describes what results you see after you tossed your pennies. After 3 times tossing you will have your earth trigram. After 3 more times tossing you will have your heaven trigram. Put them together and then your hexagram will be constructed. And thats all there is to it. Piece of cake. :)

Instructions on Casting

Anytime you cast stones, runes, coins or shells you must be relaxed. Do not attempt to do this if you are not relaxed and if you are not in a relaxed atmosphere because your final reading may be confusing if you do. You need to focus on the question. Do not think or focus on what you wish an answer to be. Just relax and focus on the question. This is very important otherwise I wouldn't mention it. Too many people are very busy in their everyday ives and think that you can quickly rush through everything. Well most things you can, but when working with the art of divination. You must take your time and be at peace within in order to find the answers that you are seeking. So...put on some relaxing music, burn some incense, light a purple candle. Go to a quiet space and sit quietly for several minutes before you attempt do this.

The first step is too find 3 shiny copper pennies. We are going to use the shiny ones to represent mirrors to your soul. Try to keep 3 pennies specifically for the purpose of casting just in case you want to come back here again. Hold the pennies in your hands so that they receive your energy. Now relax just like I explained to you above. Concentrate on a question and not an answer and toss your pennies.

This is your 1st toss to begin building your first trigram. The trigram is built from the bottom up. How many heads do you have? How many tails do you have?
