Malachi
4:2
It
may not seem so at this time
if
you feel like you’re imprisoned
and
the wicked are rewarded with the best the world can give
But
God sees who serves and honours Him.
And
the day is coming, so don’t give in
When
with honour His treasured ones God will bestow
On
that day in the revealing light
of
the sun of all righteousness
When
He will rise up with healing in His wings.
Then
at last all will know of Whom you serve
The
righteous and wicked will diverge
When
with honour His treasured ones God will bestow
And
you’ll be so relieved, so excited
You’ll be kicking up your heels in joyful glee
Like
calves released from the oppressive stall
Like
dancing lights on a waterfall
Free
to be the treasures in God’s kingdom
Whatever
the prisons in your life
Be
it illness, poverty, emotional strife
The
Lord still reaches in and brings relief
He
promises to the faithful clan
Honour
to rival any rewards of man
He’ll
raise you up and break apart your prison chains
Precious
in God’s eyes
He
gazes on your life as a well-cut jewel
Precious,
you realise
More
priceless than the treasures of the world
