La La in Her Smile

For Eleanor

Chorus

La la la la la la

She is fine

La la la la la la

Fresh new wine

Light of God

La la la la la la

In her smile

Verse 1

You can see she’s happy – it’s her air

With roses fragrant in her heart

A gentle breeze of perfume through her hair

On her lips a trace of love hearts is her style

With flowers blooming where she treads

A special kind of la-la-la-la la-la la in her smile

Verse 2

Lighting up my day with her sweet hum

She sings out a new song of joy

With heaven’s chorus joining for the fun

And her laughter is like music all the while

I am not ashamed to say with pride

That I just love the la-la-la-la la-la la in her smile
