I WANT PROOF!!

I heard this story a while back on the proof of God’s existence.  A college professor made the following accusation:

            “Can we see God?”  No!

            “Can we touch God?” No!

“If we can’t see God and we can’t touch God, then God doesn’t exist!”

One of his students made this rebuttal:

“Can we see the professor’s brain?”  No!

“Can we touch the professor’s brain?”  No!

“If we can’t see the professor’s brain and we can’t touch the professor’s brain, then the professor’s brain doesn’t exist!”

One of the biggest problems I have with the Big Bang Theory is that scientists are basing all information on the way the universe and Earth look today.  The only difference is that there was no creator involved and it took billions of years to develop.  The way the universe is set up now, almost everything can be measured with accuracy.  For example:  The turning of the Earth on its axis, the revolving of the planet around the sun, its distance from the sun, etc.  Everything is measured and nothing varies!

In a world that was created by a big bang, I believe it would be unstable.  There is no way to know how close or how far the planet actually would be with the sun, no way to tell if it would actually spin on an axis, and the chance of it colliding with another planet in the solar system would be much more possible.  I also find it hard to believe that the world would be so spherical.

The fact that man can measure everything and with accuracy, this has to be proof that there is a creator involved.  It seems a little too coincidental that the Earth is the only inhabitable planet in the solar system:  going around the Sun at just the right time for various seasons; not too hot to burn up the planet and not too cold to freeze everything, eclipses that can be forecasted and be accurate, and so on.

Try this experiment sometime:  Take a book, a unopened puzzle, and a tablet and pencil, place them all on a table and then sit and wait for something to happen.  You will get bored or watching long before anything happens because these inanimate objects can’t do anything on their own.  They need an individual to move them; open the book, put together the puzzle, and write or draw on the tablet.  People will say this is obvious and yet they refuse to believe that God created everything we see in this world.  Believing is seeing!!

Jesus said in John 20:29, “Because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed `are' they that have not seen, and `yet' have believed.”  David wrote, “The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works; There is none that doeth good.” (Ps. 14:1; 53:1)  If there is no God, where is the proof?
