</xmp>Episode 2:The Gauntlet is Thrown
Yugi and his friends are taking a break from honing their card playing
skills to watch the Duel Monsters Regional Championships between Weevil Underwood(the bug master)
and Rex Raptor(the king of dinosaurs).Joey thinks Rex Raptor will crush Weevil with his big
dinos but Weevil ended up winning.Joey understands why he won(beacuse he uses
magic cards to enhance his monsters.) Yugi then receives a package from the Duel Monsters creator,
Maximillion Pegasus.It was a tape.Yugi pops it in, and Yugi battles him when he magically gets sucked
in the tape he received in the package, which was really amazing because Pegasus uses his Millenium eye
to battle him on tv.Yugi's friends fainted rigth before Yugi got sucked into the tape to battle.
Yugi was on fire until Pegasus used the power of the Millenium Eye to see all of Yugi's
cards.Yugi was astonished and confused.
The time ran out just as he was going to beat Pegasus, since it was a 15 minutes time limit
match. Pegasus then took Grandpa's soul with his Millennium Eye and Yugi must now go to
the Duelist Kingdom to get his Grandpa's sould back.
