Since the death of her husband, Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother was always surrounded by the love and affection of her two daughters, Queen Elizabeth II and Princess Margaret, Countess of Snowdon. The death of HRH Princess Margaret in February 2002, was a difficult moment for the 101-year-old Queen Mother who, nevertheless, was determined to come down from the Royal Sandringham Estate to Windsor Castle, where the Princess’ Funeral took place.
