Zane came to us in 'Burnt Offerings' as the tough and swaggering, hard-ass wanna-be leader of the Blooddrinkers Pard. In
reality he was not alpha enough to keep them safe. With an immense sense of relief, Zane turned over leadership of the pard
to Anita. He has grown much since we first saw him and even though he is still a tough guy (sort of), he is learning what it
means to
be alpha and to help protect the pard. Recently we've seen a relationship start to blossom between Zane and Cherry...and I
think this is a budding romance that has been a long time coming, probably since we were first introduced to the pair. It
should be fun to see where Laurell takes this couple whom Anita once described as 'The Top of An S&M Wedding Cake'
