Gretchen, originally known as Gretel when Jean Claude found and brought her over, came into our lives in 'Lunatic Cafe'.
This vampire has always fancied herself in love with Jean Claude and deeply resents the fact that Jean Claude not only
spurns her, but chooses to love a human, Anita. Gretchen even went so far as to try and kill Anita, which made Jean Claude
so angry that he put her in a chain and cross wrapped coffin for...three years. Enter 'Narcissus In Chains' and we find out
the Gretchen is still in the box, Anita throws a fit and demands that Jean Claude release Gretchen, which he does and then
makes it perfectly clear to Gretchen once she's herself again, that if she ever tries to harm Anita again, it will mean Gretchen's
death...I still don't trust her, do you?
