are all fantasy of a sort:) I hope that you pick up some of these authors and learn to love them and enjoy them as much
as I have! They are among some of my favorites. The author lists will change from time to time so be sure to check back

KIM HARRISON
Appearing virtually out of nowhere, Kim Harrison has entranced readers everywhere. Her books are being published in several languages and like Laurell K Hamilton, she leaves her readers waiting with baited breath for the next book.
MARIA V. SNYDER
Recently published for the first time by Luna Books, this authors first novel is an amazing and suspenseful read. I recommend her to everybody!
LAURA ANNE GILMAN
Another wonderful find by Luna Books, her novels of The Retrievers, featuring Wren and Sergei are a delightfully addicting read!
C.E. MURPHY
This author is also a relative newcomer. She has a full length novel and also a novella out right now, with another novel due in 2006. Definitely an 'urban jungle' type fantasy read...I know you'll enjoy her immensely!
MERCEDES LACKEY
Amazingly prolific, Mercedes Lackey has always been a favorite author of mine. She has several different series and I always enjoy her books when I pick them up to read and reread them. They are like old friends and her writing style will keep you reading long into the night!
