1 pkg active dry yeast
1 cup warm water (105 to 115 degrees)
1 tsp sugar
1 tsp salt
2 Tbsp vegetable oil
2-1/2 cups flour
You may also choose to flavor the dough with seasonings of your choice~
add them along with the flour.
Dissolve yeast in warm water. Stir in remaining
ingredients; beat vigorously and add flour to form a
pliable, yet firm, not sticky, dough.
Let rest.

Hamburg Pizza
1/2 pound hamburger
Pizza Dough (above)
1 can (8oz) tomato sauce
2 tsp dried oregano leaves
1-1/4 tsp salt
1/8 tsp instant minced garlic
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 medium onion, chopped (about 1/2 cup)
1/2 small green pepper, chopped
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese (about 8 oz)
Cook and stir hamburger until light brown; drain.
Prepare Pizza Dough. Mix tomato sauce, oregano, salt,
and garlic.
Divide dough into halves. Pat or roll each half into
11-inch circle on lightly greased cookie sheet or pizza
pan. Spread sauce over circles. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese,
hamburger, onion, green pepper and mozzarella cheese. Cook
in 425* oven until cheese is light brown, 20 to 25 minutes.

PIZZA SUGGESTIONS FOLLOW:
Pepperoni Pizza
Subsitute 1 cup sliced pepperoni (about 4oz) for the
hamburger. Decrease salt in sauce to 1/4 tsp.
Combination Pizza
Sprinkle with 1/2 cup sliced mushrooms and 1/2 cup sliced
pitted ripe olives before adding mozzarella cheese.
Frankfurter Pizza
Substitute 3 frankfurters, sliced, for the hamburger
and 2 cup shredded Cheddar cheese (about 4oz) for 1 cup
of the mozzarella cheese. Decrease salt in sauce to 1/4 tsp.
Italian Sausage Pizza
Substitute 1/2 pound bulk Italian sausage for the hamburger.
Decrease salt in sauce to 1/4 tsp.
Minature Pizzas
Divide dough into 6-inch circle on lightly greased cookie
sheet. Layer sauce and toppings on each. Cook 15 to 20 minutes.
Shrimp Pizza
Substitute 1 can (4-1/2oz)broken shrimp, rinsed and drained,
for the hamburger. Decrease salt in sauce to 1/4 tsp.
Tuna Pizza
Substitute 1 can (6-1/2oz) tuna, drained, for the hamburger.
Decrease salt in sauce to 1/4 tsp.
