I knew was desperately searching for something good on Fanfiction.net one day when I came across Zsenya's 'Muggle Summer.' I sort of knew her from HP4GU - so I knew I would be getting some R/H goodness. I read the whole thing in one sitting, and proceeded over to the Sugar Quill from her link. I'm proud to say that I was at the Quill before it 'officially' opened for business.
That was December of '00. In Febuary, I was at the Second Official SQ Summit live via webcast until about 3 AM. (The stories I could tell :P ) By March I was driving to meet people I'd only ever met online, and now hardly a day goes by that I don't talk to any of them. I've met people that I siriusly consider my best friends because of the Sugar Quill. I don't know what I would do without them. I can't believe it's only been a year. It feels like I've known them forever. The Quill is such a wonderful community. I love that we can all come together and play like this.
But I have to share with you all the REAL reason I stayed...
It was last April They jumped me and held me down while the 'Mark of the Quill' was placed on my back. Now Arabella and Zsenya can summon me whenever they want. They think it's really funny to do it in the middle of the night, or when they know I'm in the shower. Ha ha you two. REAL funny. :)
