Bakura is very much like Yugi, a frail transfer student to Domino High School, he joined Yugi and his group in Manga Vol. 6, and anime series 1 episode 19. Like Yugi he also posesses a Millenium Item.

This item is the Millenium Ring which can be used as a Millenium Item detector. The ring as well created a darker side to him. But this dark side of Bakura is evil. He trapped Yugi and his friends in his favorite game, Monster World.

Yugi was able to defeat the dark Bakura but often he comes back to help or cause trouble.

The evil Bakura's main goal is to posess all the Millenium Items, therefore gaining an enormous demonic power.
