This series takes heroes from Greek mythology and describes what adventures they might have had in their youth. They're made for Young Readers, but likely enjoyable to anyone interested in both fantasy and mythology. The series, so far, includes:

When Atalanta's adopted father is killed by a strange beast, her bear-brother from youth comes to comfort her. She and Urso give up hunting the beast until it threatens people she knows from a small village near her forest home.
