In the distant future, space and time have been surpassed by technology. The year is 4020 and fantasy and sci-fi has finally become one. Almost anything imaginable can be created and controlled by science. Impossibilities are virtually unheard of. Cyborgs, androids, clones, robots, mutants, the spliced, and other strange and fantastic beings are present in the ever-changing galaxy. The rich seek power from their distant, protected colonies while the poor struggle for survival in crowded, trash covered, cities. Criminals, whether the skilled most wanted to the petty thief, are stalked by their rivals, those hired to kill them, and the most dangerous Bounty Hunters. Demons and other horrors lurk on the outskirts, awaiting their prey. This is the future. This is the life we have created. This is Zokujin.
