The Holy Rudraksha Pendant
The Rudraksha bead is the seed from the Holy Rudraksha tree. The Rudraksha has a purifying effect on the blood and helps blood circulation. It is excellent for balancing both high and low blood pressure.
You may place your Rudraksha in your room or use it to meditate with. It is good to wear the Rudraksha over the heart as it aids in opening the Heart Chakra and strengthens the physical organ of the heart. The LegendThere once was a demon known as Tripurasura who had become ruthless and invincible. Worried at his growing power the gods approached Lord Shiva and pleaded with Him to destroy the monster. Lord Shiva closed His eyes and meditated for some time and when He opened His lotus-shaped eyes tears fell from them to the Earth. Wherever His tears fell, the holy Rudraksha tree grew. The fruits of this tree are known as Rudraksha beads. Lord Shiva used His Divine weapon known as Aghora to destroy Tripurasura. |
