Are Christians Under The Hebrew/Judaism Laws?

KJV

It never ceases to amaze me that some don't grasp the fundamental biblical teaching of the Law of Liberty in Christ. How can so called unbiased people claim they reject Jesus Christ without prejudice, if they don't even understand what they reject! This is a detailed and comprehensive study on the Law of Christ.

First and foremost we must establish what the law is. The Hebrew/Judaism Laws are those decrees Almighty God has sent down by word of the prophet's mouth (Not just Moses' as you will see). A lot believe there are only ten laws (The Ten Commandments) but in fact the truth is there are 613 statutes given to the 12 tribes of Jacob (Israel).
These canons are for the people as a whole, or personal individuals, and can be found in the first five books of the bible (The Torah). BUT one should take note that Jesus Christ pointed to the whole of the scripture it seems, as the law.

John 10:30-36 I and my Father are one. Then the Jews took up stones again to stone him. Jesus answered them, Many good works have I shewed you from my Father; for which of those works do ye stone me? The Jews answered him, saying, For a good work we stone thee not; but for blasphemy; and because that thou, being a man, makest thyself God. Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods? If he called them gods, unto whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken; Say ye of him, whom the Father hath sanctified, and sent into the world, Thou blasphemest; because I said, I am the Son of God?

See Jesus calls the scripture as a whole, the law, because that verse can only be found in one place.
Psalms 82:6 I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High.

So you see, like most times, things are not as simple as they might seem with the Word of God. It is also noteworthy to mention that the Laws of God did not start by the giving of the law to the Hebrews by Moses, but rather with Abraham, who was the first noted Hebrew that God gave decrees to.

Genesis 22:1-13 And it came to pass after these things, that God did tempt Abraham, and said unto him, Abraham: and he said, Behold, here I am. And he said, Take now thy son, thine only son Isaac, whom thou lovest, and get thee into the land of Moriah; and offer him there for a burnt offering upon one of the mountains which I will tell thee of. And Abraham rose up early in the morning, and saddled his ass, and took two of his young men with him, and Isaac his son, and clave the wood for the burnt offering, and rose up, and went unto the place of which God had told him. Then on the third day Abraham lifted up his eyes, and saw the place afar off. And Abraham said unto his young men, Abide ye here with the ass; and I and the lad will go yonder and worship, and come again to you. And Abraham took the wood of the burnt offering, and laid it upon Isaac his son; and he took the fire in his hand, and a knife; and they went both of them together. And Isaac spake unto Abraham his father, and said, My father: and he said, Here am I, my son. And he said, Behold the fire and the wood: but where is the lamb for a burnt offering? And Abraham said, My son, God will provide himself a lamb for a burnt offering: so they went both of them together. And they came to the place which God had told him of; and Abraham built an altar there, and laid the wood in order, and bound Isaac his son, and laid him on the altar upon the wood. And Abraham stretched forth his hand, and took the knife to slay his son. And the angel of the LORD called unto him out of heaven, and said, Abraham, Abraham: and he said, Here am I. And he said, Lay not thine hand upon the lad, neither do thou any thing unto him: for now I know that thou fearest God, seeing thou hast not withheld thy son, thine only son from me. And Abraham lifted up his eyes, and looked, and behold behind him a ram caught in a thicket by his horns: and Abraham went and took the ram, and offered him up for a burnt offering in the stead of his son.

God made a covenant with Abraham because of Abraham's faith.
Genesis 22:15-18 And the angel of the LORD called unto Abraham out of heaven the second time, And said, By myself have I sworn, saith the LORD, for because thou hast done this thing, and hast not withheld thy son, thine only son: That in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies; And in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; because thou hast obeyed my voice.

Now God being God and omniscience and omnipresent, knew over time the Jews would fall away from His prescribed ordinances within this covenant He made with Abraham and his decedents, so He would provide a new covenant and extend His law and covenant to all those He brought it to. Because you know it, or know of it, you of course are under that covenant and law as well, and if you refuse the Lamb of God, of course there is no more sacrifice for you and you will have to pay for your own sins.
Hebrews 8:7-13 For if that first covenant had been faultless, then should no place have been sought for the second. For finding fault with them, he saith, Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah: Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; because they continued not in my covenant, and I regarded them not, saith the Lord. For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people: And they shall not teach every man his neighbor, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall know me, from the least to the greatest. For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more. In that he saith, A new covenant, he hath made the first old. Now that which decayeth and waxeth old is ready to vanish away.

Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior became that lamb offering for sin.
John 1:29 The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.
John 1:36 And looking upon Jesus as he walked, he saith, Behold the Lamb of God!

Not only did Jesus Christ become the lamb offering for sin, but every other offering as well, and it is a once and for all, sacrifice for all our sins and transgressions. These verses coming up reflect on how the temple priest went into the Holy of Holies to offer this sacrifice once a year, for the atonement of sin, and picks up at Christ becoming that very sacrifice and atonement of sin, by His death on the cross.
Heb 9:7-15 But into the second went the high priest alone once every year, not without blood, which he offered for himself, and for the errors of the people: The Holy Ghost this signifying, that the way into the holiest of all was not yet made manifest, while as the first tabernacle was yet standing: Which was a figure for the time then present, in which were offered both gifts and sacrifices, that could not make him that did the service perfect, as pertaining to the conscience; Which stood only in meats and drinks, and divers washings, and carnal ordinances, imposed on them until the time of reformation. But Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building; Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us. For if the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of an heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctifieth to the purifying of the flesh: How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God? And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance.

The Word of God has come to you for a purpose and goal. The reason? The reason is two fold for all the world it reaches. Either to save or convict them on the Judgment Day. If you know the moral laws and code of God Almighty in whole or in part, then you are under those laws, whether Jew or Gentile, and you must fulfill the whole law, or are guilty of breaking all the laws. Why? Because Almighty God and Creator of all things says so. God has placed YOU under the law, by showing YOU the law, and now You must fulfill all the law, or be judged guilty as charged under the Law of God. This is how you sin, in the eyes of the Lord, by breaking His Laws.
1 John 3:4 Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.
So now God has you under the Law, by you knowing there is 'His' Law, and You must fulfill all that law. . . And get this, here is the catch 22. You can not! It's impossible. . . Only ONE could fulfill the Law of God. The Holy Anointed And First Begotten Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth is the only one that never sinned, and thus fulfilled the law.
1 Peter 2:22 Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth: 1 John 3:5 And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin.
He was taken, without sin or blemish, and made the sacrificial lamb of atonement and took on the sins of the world. This alone had to cause Christ MUCH travail, every feel real bad about something you did, because deep down in your soul you knew it was a bad thing? Well think of Christ on the cross taking all that guilt and shame upon Himself, and all for what?
2 Corinitains 5:21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.
Because of Fathers love for you, He is willing to let Jesus' fulfillment of the law extend to all those who's hearts are set on Father and His will to be done, Father knows all, and searches the hearts of mankind, and in looking at your heart, God has deemed your heart to be "worthy of fulfillment of the law, by Jesus Christ, "or" has deemed it as "evil" at this time and keeps you under bondage of the law. Here is a quickie walk through on some of the verses.
Jesus Christ, it is explained is this Passover Lamb.

1 Corinitains 5:7 Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us:

Hebrews 10:1 For the law having a shadow of good things to come, and not the very image of the things, can never with those sacrifices which they offered year by year continually make the comers thereunto perfect.
2 For then would they not have ceased to be offered? because that the worshippers once purged should have had no more conscience of sins.
3 But in those sacrifices there is a remembrance again made of sins every year.
4 For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away sins.
5 Wherefore when he cometh into the world, he saith, Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not, but a body hast thou prepared me:
6 In burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin thou hast had no pleasure.
7 Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God.
8 Above when he said, Sacrifice and offering and burnt offerings and offering for sin thou wouldest not, neither hadst pleasure therein; which are offered by the law;
9 Then said he, Lo, I come to do thy will, O God. He taketh away the first, that he may establish the second.
10 By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.
11 And every priest standeth daily ministering and offering oftentimes the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins:
12 But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God;
13 From henceforth expecting till his enemies be made his footstool.
14 For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified.
15 Whereof the Holy Ghost also is a witness to us: for after that he had said before,
16 This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them;
17 And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more.
18 Now where remission of these is, there is no more offering for sin.

So now, Christ has fulfilled all things.

Luke 24:44 And he said unto them, These are the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning me.

What all must be fulfilled in the law of Moses?

Jeremiah 31:31-34 Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah: Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the LORD: But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people. And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.

Now one might ask how did the gentiles (non-Jews get caught up in all this. . . because it says

I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah: and you will see it was because of the Jewish Temple High Priest and or Jewish priest and the majority of the Jewish people rejected Christ "This new covenant" therefore He became the salvation over all the world. So the fact be known, it is because of the Jewish rejection of Christ, that He becomes atonement for all those that hold steadfast to the faith. All this is explained in Romans chapter eleven, I implore you to read it in full, but here is the cut to the case scene.
Romans 11:25-36 For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in. And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob: For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins. As concerning the gospel, they are enemies for your sakes: but as touching the election, they are beloved for the father's sakes. For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance. For as ye in times past have not believed God, yet have now obtained mercy through their unbelief: Even so have these also now not believed, that through your mercy they also may obtain mercy. For God hath concluded them all in unbelief, that he might have mercy upon all. O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out! For who hath known the mind of the Lord? or who hath been his counsellor? Or who hath first given to him, and it shall be recompensed unto him again? For of him, and through him, and to him, are all things: to whom be glory for ever. Amen.

So many Christians try to debate those very clear and unquestionable verses. All I can say to them is clearly to me and most scholars, is it's about the Jews, and your not being able to understanding the verses and that they are about the jewish people, the decendants of the 12 tribes of Jacob, shows me Father still has blinders on them as well about this subject. That's not an insult or a pompous statement, because Father has blinders on me about some subjects as well, as He does everyone. Let's get one belief of mine straight from the start, Father could easily, without effort, make all understand all meanings and verses in the word of God, but He gives us what He wants each individual to know. Of course study and prayer for wisdom in His word can work a long way to His favor toward us. Also I know full well this verse and do not count all that claim to be Jewish are.
Revelation 2:9 I know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty, (but thou art rich) and I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan.
Revelation 3:9 Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee.

Okay, so by that, many shall claim to be jewish, but are not. Some believe the Beast will be one that claims he is jewish as well, but is not. But that's another debate. So Jesus was sent to the jews, and the jews rejected Jesus for what He was and Is. The Christ. The Messiah, the anointed that is atonement for sin. Because of this rejection, Jesus by way of the Spirit has come to all the world, for atonement of sin, for those that wish that their sin by taken away. And here, Jesus shows us how to be sure that we have fulfilled the law through placing faith on Him. AND becauseof the Jews rejection of Christ, that brought salvation to the world, they, Israel, all those truly of Jacob, are forgiven. For God used them as a means to send mercy and forgiveness to even the gentiles who place faith in Him. Now, clear to to most scholars is, that Jesus has His law written in His servants hearts. You will, by default obey many of the Hebrew laws because they are within Christ's laws as well. Take these verses for what they say.

Mark 12:28-34 And one of the scribes came, and having heard them reasoning together, and perceiving that he had answered them well, asked him, Which is the first commandment of all?
And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord:
And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment.
And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.
And the scribe said unto him, Well, Master, thou hast said the truth: for there is one God; and there is none other but he:
And to love him with all the heart, and with all the understanding, and with all the soul, and with all the strength, and to love his neighbour as himself, is more than all whole burnt offerings and sacrifices.
And when Jesus saw that he answered discreetly, he said unto him, Thou art not far from the kingdom of God. And no man after that durst ask him any question.

Mat 5:44-46 But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust. For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? do not even the publicans the same?

Galations 5:14 For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

John 13:35 By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.

Luke 10:29 But he, willing to justify himself, said unto Jesus, And who is my neighbour? ... (WHO is your neighbour can be found within Luke 10:25-37)

Romans 13:10 Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.

1 John 4:7 Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.

1 John 4:12 No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us.

Romans 12:19 Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.

Luke 6:27-28 But I say unto you which hear, Love your enemies, do good to them which hate you, Bless them that curse you, and pray for them which despitefully use you.

John 13:34 A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.

1 John 3:23 And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment.

Romans 13:8 Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law.

1 John 4:7 Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.

John 15:12 This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.

John 15:17 These things I command you, that ye love one another.

1 John 4:11 Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.

So clearly even to an idiot, Love is the fulfillment of the law. But doesn't everyone love, and thereby fulfill the law? No. Only those born of God love. Read below.

1 John 4:7 Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.
He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.
In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.
Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.
Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.
No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us.
Hereby know we that we dwell in him, and he in us, because he hath given us of his Spirit.
And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world.
Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God.
And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.
Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world.
There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.
We love him, because he first loved us.
If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen?

Here Christ goes over just what the Sabbath Laws are meant for.

Mark 2:23 And it came to pass, that he went through the corn fields on the sabbath day; and his disciples began, as they went, to pluck the ears of corn.
And the Pharisees said unto him, Behold, why do they on the sabbath day that which is not lawful?
And he said unto them, Have ye never read what David did, when he had need, and was an hungred, he, and they that were with him?
How he went into the house of God in the days of Abiathar the high priest, and did eat the shewbread, which is not lawful to eat but for the priests, and gave also to them which were with him?
And he said unto them, The sabbath was made for man, and not man for the sabbath:
Therefore the Son of man is Lord also of the sabbath.
So God's love is so great to us, that He takes the BURDEN of the law away, and instills the law of love to be fulifilled by our servitude toward Christ. Love Christ, and you will fulfill the law, because you will love all mankind.

Now, is one to set out and break these Hebrew laws? Of course not, as there are clear cut warnings not to do such. Are Jews under the old covenant and laws. Yes of course they are unless they are Messianic Jews

Mathew 5:17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.
For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.
Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
But what are these commandments Jesus Christ speaks of, well He goes over them infact. Rememeber these words of His though. Mathew 5:20 For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven. The Scribes and Pharisees infact are the ones that lived solely by the letter of the old Hebrew law, and Jesus is pointing to them and saying, unless you do even better then them, your fate is not above theirs. Now here You will see, Jesus infact changes the laws, and to a more strict and personal code.

Mathew 5:21-22 Ye have heard that it was said of them of old time, Thou shalt not kill; and whosoever shall kill shall be in danger of the judgment:
But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment: and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council: but whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire.

Mathew 5:27-28 Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not commit adultery:
But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart.

Mathew 5:33-37 Again, ye have heard that it hath been said by them of old time, Thou shalt not forswear thyself, but shalt perform unto the Lord thine oaths:
But I say unto you, Swear not at all; neither by heaven; for it is God's throne:
Nor by the earth; for it is his footstool: neither by Jerusalem; for it is the city of the great King.
Neither shalt thou swear by thy head, because thou canst not make one hair white or black.
But let your communication be, Yea, yea; Nay, nay: for whatsoever is more than these cometh of evil.

Mathew 5:38-39 Ye have heard that it hath been said, An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth:
But I say unto you, That ye resist not evil: but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also.

Mathew 5:43-44 Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy.
But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;

Galations 6:2 Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ. All those verses show Jesus Christ fulfilling the law, by writing new laws into our heart. Personal laws of self control. Now the comes the pin pointing if the matter. You can not keep the whole of the law, and if you are trying to use it to justify and witness come Judgment Day, you shall be in grave danger.

James 1:27 Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.

James 2:10 For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.

For he that said, Do not commit adultery, said also, Do not kill. Now if thou commit no adultery, yet if thou kill, thou art become a transgressor of the law.

These verse out and out brings it on home!

Ephessians 2:13-15 But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ.
For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us;
Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace;

These verse slam it on home as well!

Hebrews 7:12-19 For the priesthood being changed, there is made of necessity a change also of the law.
For he of whom these things are spoken pertaineth to another tribe, of which no man gave attendance at the altar.
For it is evident that our Lord sprang out of Juda; of which tribe Moses spake nothing concerning priesthood.
And it is yet far more evident: for that after the similitude of Melchisedec there ariseth another priest,
Who is made, not after the law of a carnal commandment, but after the power of an endless life.
For he testifieth, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec.
For there is verily a disannulling of the commandment going before for the weakness and unprofitableness thereof.
For the law made nothing perfect, but the bringing in of a better hope did; by the which we draw nigh unto God.

Acts 13:39 And by him all that believe are justified from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses.

Here Jesus shows that all things about Him must be fulfilled in the law. Below it is one of the things the law says about Him.

Luke 24:44 And he said unto them, These are the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning me.

Jeremiah 31:31 Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah:
Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the LORD:
But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.

And again, showing it was done.

2 Corinitains 3:3 Forasmuch as ye are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tables of stone, but in fleshy tables of the heart.

Colossians 2:14-16 Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;
And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.
Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days:

There are many many more verses that cover this subject, I could post three more full pages of them, but somehow I have the idea you now understand why Christians do not follow the Hebrew Law, we follow the Law of Christ which is the law of liberty. It will be the heart that convicts come judgment day, because Jesus will only write His Law on the heart of those that truly wish God's will be done on earth as it is in Heaven. Those without the law written on their heart, are already convicted, less they repent and seek Father's will.

Galations 3:10 For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them.
But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith.
And the law is not of faith: but, The man that doeth them shall live in them.
Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:

Galations 5:1-5 Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.
Behold, I Paul say unto you, that if ye be circumcised, Christ shall profit you nothing.
For I testify again to every man that is circumcised, that he is a debtor to do the whole law.
