Jesus King Of Kings, Lord of Lords

KJV

1 Timothy 3:16 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.

"mystery" see that term? Its just what it say, you can't explain it, its a mystery... God says he shall make the wisdom of men foolishness... this is part of it, God the maker of the whole universe, came down to earth, and they can't explain that "mystery" so they reject it... that's how God works!

If God the Father wants to be three and yet one.. are you saying He cannot do it, Jesus himself claimed that He was Father, for he was part of the Father from the beginning, and was God, the Word of God come alive, Perhaps his glory was so great it split into three, yet bound as one, JUST because its a mystery of God don't make it not true... :)

Isaiah 43:11 I, even I, am the LORD; and beside me there is no saviour.

"Now don't be calling Christ your saviour then! Thats as plain as it gets, there is one saviour... God... so if you count Jesus as your saviour you must count Him as God..."
"Only God can forgive sin folks..."

Luke 5:17-25 And it came to pass on a certain day, as he was teaching, that there were Pharisees and doctors of the law sitting by, which were come out of every town of Galilee, and Judaea, and Jerusalem: and the power of the Lord was present to heal them.
And, behold, men brought in a bed a man which was taken with a palsy: and they sought means to bring him in, and to lay him before him.
And when they could not find by what way they might bring him in because of the multitude, they went upon the housetop, and let him down through the tiling with his couch into the midst before Jesus.
And when he saw their faith, he said unto him, Man, thy sins are forgiven thee.
And the scribes and the Pharisees began to reason, saying, Who is this which speaketh blasphemies? Who can forgive sins, but God alone?
But when Jesus perceived their thoughts, he answering said unto them, What reason ye in your hearts?
Whether is easier, to say, Thy sins be forgiven thee; or to say, Rise up and walk?
But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power upon earth to forgive sins, (he said unto the sick of the palsy,) I say unto thee, Arise, and take up thy couch, and go into thine house.
And immediately he rose up before them, and took up that whereon he lay, and departed to his own house, glorifying God.

"Yet Jesus did it."
Luke 7:48 And he said unto her, Thy sins are forgiven.

"It belongs to God, Jesus sure wasn't born when this was wrote, yet he did it.

Daniel 9:9 To the Lord our God belong mercies and forgivenesses, though we have rebelled against him;

"It belongs to God, and Jesus did it because He was God in the flesh, call Him an extension of God's spirit sent down to mankind, call Him the Word of God come alive, but call Him God.

Thomas called Him God, and it would have been a grave sin for Jesus not to correct him."

John 20:28-29 And Thomas answered and said unto him, My LORD and my God.
Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.

Acts 20:28 Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood.

"Which he purchased with his OWN blood!"

John 14:8-9 Philip saith unto him, Lord, shew us the Father, and it sufficeth us.
Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father?

"THAT says it all! If you Christians can't see what Jesus is saying there I guess the Holy Spirit is leading us down different study paths. God and him, though separate, are the same. You think mans DNA is something, bet your last dollar Fathers is awsome, and spiritual!"
Zechariah 12:10 And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn.
"Thats God talking, go back to 12:1 see for yourself. ' and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, ' Sums it up! I don't know how He does it. Don't ask me that, ask your Father in heaven how He does the things He does, or why. All I know is if He wants to be three and yet one, He will. By faith, I believe He can. Do you?"
John 5:18 Therefore the Jews sought the more to kill him, because he not only had broken the sabbath, but said also that God was his Father, making himself equal with God.
"equal with God. Almighty God. God the Highest. How can anyone be equal with Him?"
Philippians 2:6 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:
"Again there it is, The word of God saying Jesus is equal with God, yet God is Almighty God... so how does He do it. When God speaks universes are born."
Psalms 45:6-7 Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: the sceptre of thy kingdom is a right sceptre.
Thou lovest righteousness, and hatest wickedness: therefore God, thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.
"There He said it, 'therefore God, thy God, hath anointed' and so it was from the beginning." God calling someone else God, not on your life; its God calling part of Him, Him. He is laying claim to His Word as Him.

"God came down to pay the price of sin with his own blood and then received up into glory."

KJV Acts 17:29 Forasmuch then as we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Godhead is like unto gold, or silver, or stone, graven by art and man's device.

KJV Colossians 2:9 For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.

KJV Romans 1:20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:

"Godhead... now why you think that is used. Think about it, why have to make mention of that title."

"So lets recap what the Word of God declares about Jesus Christ the Lord.
  1. Gen 1:26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness:
  2. Paul said, Jesus is that image. . . . . .the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them. (2 Corin 4:4)
  3. The Word declares in Psalms 33:6 By the word of the LORD were the heavens made; and all the host of them by the breath of his mouth.
  4. The Word also shows the Word is God. John 1:1-2 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God.
  5. And then delcares Jesus is that word! John 1:14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
  6. John 1:3 Say Nothing was made without Jesus.' All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.
  7. King David called the Messiah "Jesus" to come his Lord and God more then once. (Psalms 110:1-4; 45:6-7 )
  8. Isaiah called the Messiah "Jesus" to come God, more then once. (Isa 9:6; Isa 7:14;)
  9. Jesus Christ our Lord carries many attributes of God the Father. Jesus is omniscient. (Matt 17:27, Mark 2:8, Luke 9:46, 11:17 and in John 1:48, 4:16-18.)
  10. God says there is no Saviour besides him. Yet Jesus is our Saviour.
  11. In the book of Philippians it shows Jesus to be equal with God Almighty, Highest. Philippians 2:6 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:
  12. John declares, Jesus said He is God. John 10:30 I and my Father are one. And knew just what that meant! As did the temple priest and why they turned Christ over to Pilate.
  13. Jesus Christ our Lord is omnipresent. (Eph 1:23, Eph 4:10)
  14. Thomas Calls Him God. John 20:28 And Thomas answered and said unto him, My LORD and my God.
  15. Jesus Christ our Lord infinitely preexistent all creation. (John 8:58, John 1:3, Micah 5:2)
  16. Jesus Christ our Lord is omniscience (Matthew 9:4, John 10:64, John 10:14, John 1:48, Acts 1:24, Mark 2:8, Luke 5:4-6, Matthew 17:27)
  17. Jesus Christ our Lord foretells the future without divine insight. (Matt 16:21, 24:25, 26:21-25, 31-25 and John 21:18)
  18. Only God can forgive sin, and Jesus did. Father is the only one who can save people from their sins (Isa 43:25, 44:21, and 63:16.)All the same an angel of God heralds to Joseph, ". . . you shall call His name Jesus, for He will save His people from their sins" Matt1:21. (Eph 1:7, Mark 2:5-12, Luke 5:20, Luke 7:47-50)
  19. Additionally, Peter quotes the prophet Joel, saying about Jesus . . . whoever calls upon the name of the LORD shall be saved) Acts 2:21 Later, Peter shows that only the name of Jesus can save (Acts 4:12.) How can this all be if only God can forgive sins? Even the temple priest were not so blind as to see what Jesus was saying!!!!
  20. Jesus Christ our Lord is omnipotent (Phil 3:21, Matthew 28:18, Luke 8:25, John 17.2, 1 Corinitains 5:4 )
  21. Jesus told Phillip, ". . . Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father? John 14:8-9
  22. No one but God is to be worshipped, and Jesus was worshipped. (Luke 24:52, Mathew 28:17, Mathew 15:25, Mathew 14:33, John 9:38, Mark 5:6)
  23. The book of Acts declares it was Gods blood that was shed on the cross. Acts 20:28 Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood.
  24. Some Titles of Jesus Christ are. Everlasting Father. Lord. Lord of Lords. Savior. Alpha and Omega. The Word of God. King of Kings and I AM, amoung others.
  25. Last and surely not least, God calls Him God. Hebrews 1:8 But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom. Psalms 45:6 Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: the sceptre of thy kingdom is a right sceptre.
