Connection: Satoshi's father

Yoshimitsu is a famous architect. He's married to Satoshi's mother, but is ver unfaithful to the marriage. Satoshi has no respect for him because if this, and it is also why he vows to never be like his father because if it, also. His father's infidelity was also the cause of why Satoshi and Yuu got be friends.

Connection: Satoshi's best friend

Usually aloof and teasing, Yuu met Satoshi in the library at Toryo High. The two suspected they were brothers. Yuu found a letter when he was younger by his maternal grandmother asking his present father, Youji, if he would marry his mother, Chiyako, even though she was pregnant with some else's child. He learned years later of when Chiyako worked for Yoshimitsu and of Yoshimitsu's multiple affairs. Satoshi agreed to help Yuu meet with Mister Miwa to find out the truth. After, it was revealed that Yoshimitsu had wanted an affair with Chiyako, but she was already devoted to another unknown man since college. The two stayed good friends, though. When Yuu has a problem, he usually goes to Satoshi for guidance like an older brother.

Connection: Yuu's girlfriend

Though not as much with Yuu, Satoshi is also connected to Miki. When she needed advice on Yuu, she would commonly come to Satoshi for it. When problems arose about Yuu going to study abroad in New York, Satoshi hatched the plan to quelch all doubts amongst the couple. He asked Miki to the senior prom and explained to her about the trip and its importance. He loves to tease her because of her gullibleness and is very good friends with her. She's also generally pulled into his plans (along with Yuu) to be with Meiko.

Connection: "rival" for Meiko

Namura was Meiko's teacher. He was also her love. The two have been dating for about three years, their relationship kept secret bacause of the scandals it would cause. They met in the library one day when Meiko was in junior high. It became their meeting place from then on. A silent tension started between him and Satoshi when Satoshi persued Meiko. After the affair was discovered and Namura resigned from his job, Satoshi said he would take care of Meiko from now on instead of Namura.

Connection: Satoshi's cousin

Suzu is a popular model, especially in teen magazines. She openly became infatuated with Yuu he was drafted into costarring in a commercial with her. She thought he was "pretty" and she loved to be surrounded by "pretty" things. Her hobby is photography. After the commerial, to stay close to Yuu, she asked Satoshi if he could get Yuu to be her tutor. Though going through numerous attempts to break Yuu and Miki up, she failed to get him. Suzu commonly confided in Satoshi, especially about he feelings about Yuu and Miki not being "pretty" enough for Yuu.
