Actualy, people from sitio Katipunan went to Mass at Mansasa Heights Chapel. The idea of separating from Mansasa Heights Chapel was realized because of the ramphant increase of population and it is practical
for them to organized and build another chapel.
Late 70's, the half potion of the chapel is half erected until early 80's, the contruction is done. The people organized an organization called "dayong" meaning a filipino bayanihan when one of the member of the organization is dead. The Chapel also organized an organization named Katipunan Sta Crus Chapel Organizaion. The function of this organization is both legislative and a policy
making body. Whatever rules and guidelines agreed from the consultation and by the approval of the officers, they implement it for action.
The Office is past from generation to generation until it evolve in the community.Early 90's the Chapel officers come up for an idea of forming a Youth Organization and later they align it to the parish and recently known as the Parish Youth Ministry Katipunan Chapel.
