There are, of course, almost as many views on End-Time events as there are Christians, but I want to add a few of the other perspectives.

These perspectives have been well documented online so I'm going to save myself the effort of repeating them and give you a link in Wikipedia:

Wikipedia: Rapture

Unfortunately, I don't have time to correct the many mistakes in the article in Wikipedia. It is obviously very slanted towards a certain view (post-tribulation). But if you go through this site, you'll have a clearer idea of what direction all of this is heading in and then you can come to your own conclusion.

Unless you have been studying the Bible for some time and feel comfortable with it, these different doctrines WILL be confusing. I suggest you pray to the Lord to open your heart and give you HIS perspective.

If you are new to the Bible and/or new to Christ, stay as simple as you can. Like Jesus said, "I thank you, O, Father, that you have revealed these things to babes." If you're simple, and you ask God to show you this or that, He will.

The Apostle Paul said, 2 Corinthians 11:3 "But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ."

This is the King James Version (my preference). In today's language, Paul is writing to one of the churches and says he's concerned that they might be deceived the same way Eve was through the weakness of her pride and thus stray away from the simple teachings of Jesus.

Jesus taught "Learn of Me..." Meaning to learn what He's like, "...for I am meek and lowly of heart..." Not proud. "...and you shall find rest for your souls."

Our spiritual battle with the sin of spiritual pride, causes most of our problems. But if we'll whole-heartedly meditate on the Lord's Words, learn how He sees things and not try to "be somebody", then He can show you more.

Like fighting your way through a jungle. The sharper your "machete": THE WORD OF GOD, the quicker you'll get through the mess of confusing thoughts and false interpretations.

Prayerfully study the Word of Jesus. When you do, it becomes a part of you. His words will become sign-posts in your daily walk with Him, shining a light on your thoughts.

Jesus Christ said you'll know who's being truthful and who is of God, by seeing the fruit of their life.

Look at the fruit of Jesus life. He never exalted Himself. He taught the people to look to God for their help. He showed us that He has power to physically and spiritually heal people and He has given this power to those who trust Him.

That doesn't mean you don't have faith if you can't raise the dead. God gives each of us a specific task to perform in His power.

The Lord gives us the gifts we need to do His will. We don't have to worry, only trust Him.

BEWARE of personal "revelations". It has to match up with God's Word. Make sure you don't think it's you because you're "so wonderful you must be the next major prophet".

God bless you as you walk the walk of faith in Him. He's coming quickly.

Revelation 3:11 "Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.

Revelation 22:7 "Behold, I come quickly: blessed is he that keepeth the sayings of the prophecy of this book.

Revelation 22:12 "And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be."

Revelation 22:20 "He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus."
