Leopard geckos
The leopard gecko, or Eublepharus Macularius, has caught the heart of me and several other herp enthusiasts I know. These little gems are, in my opinion, one of the best and easiest to take care of species of reptile in the world. They all seem to have a distinct personality and all are very different. They can get very tame with time, and some seem to get to know and even bond with their owners. They are largely available, and although I would recommend buying from a private breeder, are easily available at most pet stores. There seems to be a new "morph" or color strain every year. Leaving all that said, here are some links.
