Extra! Extra! Read all about it!
Folks, we have just gotten word that aliens have landed! Yes you heard correctly, aliens! At exactly 12:01 on April 1st, 2002, we got several reports of a large object moving quickly through the morning sky. We immediately sent our chopper cam to the site. We arrived just in time to see the alien land in it's giant dragon-like mother ship.
As of this time it's unknown whether the alien is here to make peace, or make war. Please everyone, stay inside your houses and hide your cats. 
UPDATE!
We have been covering this story all day with our chopper cam, and unfortunately, it seems the alien is not here for diplomatic reasons. These are shots of the giant alien destroying a small midwestern city.
We unfortunately, were not able to do anything to hinder his destruction of this town... A firefight ensued, several airplanes, and rival news station helicopters were shot down. The military sent out an incredibly large tank to try and stop this evil menace.
Unfortunately, the tank was quickly destroyed and barely even made the alien flinch.
These are the best shots we could get. They show the pure destruction that this alien has caused. There's not much I can say about this folks... 
He is currently heading to the nearest large city. It may be yours! Please, if you see a large alien destroying your town, do not provoke it. 
FINAL UPDATE!
It seems that the alien is heading toward our news station. The government is powerless against this creature of pure destruction. The only thing they can think of is to send out a possible ambassador for peace. If that works out, expect an update from us soon, if not, we probably won't be updating any time in the near ever.
