Q: Why did you make this website?
A: To encourage people to write or draw. I personally enjoy both (even if I'm not that good), and I've always liked the websites that would let me post my work. I didn't like how so many site owners would never post your work and just stopped updating the site, so I wanted to make one that wasn't like that.

Q: My question isn't answered on the FAQ, what should I do?
A: E-mail me with the question, as long as it isn't on the FAQ.

Q: I found an error! What should I do?
A: E-mail me right away and explain what went wrong so I can fix the problem.

Joining/Posting:

Q: How do I get my work posted?
A: Check the How to Join page. If you're already a member, go here.

Q: How long will it take for my work to be posted?
A: It can take anywhere from an hour to a week, but should be posted within two days. If it's been a week and your work hasn't been posted yet, e-mail me.

Q: Will I be able to edit/delete my work?
A: Yes, but it will take some time before it's updated.

Q: Can I post my work on other websites?
A: Yes, but you should make sure your name is on it. This way people won't think you stole the work.

Q: Can I post other people's work here?
A: No, this website is only for your original work.

Q: Can I post someone else's work from Mystical Dreamers on my website?
A: Only if you have that persons permission to do so.

Q: Why do I have to upload my artwork onto the internet first?
A: This makes it much faster and easier to add your work to Mystical Dreamers, but you can currently send it to MysDreamers@aol.com if you don't want to. Just make sure you include all necessary information..

Q: Will you be linking to the pictures on my website?
A: No, I'll be uploading them onto the Mystical Dreamers website.

Q: My graphic is too large! How can I get it posted?
A: First, try to make it smaller. If you resize it, you may be able to get it posted. If that doesn't work, you can search for a program that will compress it. You'll have less detail, but it will fit.

Q: If my picture is too big, can you just link to it on my website?
A: If you like I can add a link to the picture, but it will be separated from your other pictures.

Q: Then how do I do that?
A: There are two ways; you can add the link under your favorite links on the member page, or send it like you would any other picture. If you choose the second option, you must add that you want it to just be placed as a link under Descriptions.

Q: How will I know if my picture is too big?
A: Right now, it must be under 100k. I would appreciate it if you would make it less than that, if possible.

Q: How do I change my member page?
A: Go to Enter Work and click on Change Member Profile.

Q: How long can my stories be?
A: As long as you want, though if it's really long you may want to separate it into different parts.

Q: How do I edit a story?
A: If you're changing the entire thing, copy your story/poem by highlighting it, right-clicking it, and choosing copy. Then go to the Enter Work page and click on Edit a Story/Poem. Click in the box that says Story and paste (right-click and chose paste). This feature should be updated soon.

Q: There are parts of my story that won't be accepted, what can I do?
A: Edit it so it will be accepted. This doesn't mean you have to change the story, just don't go into any details.

Q: Can I add HTML to my story/poem/member page?
A: Of course. Just add the HTML code where necessary and the code will be there when the story/poem/member page is updated.

Q: What kind of HTML can I add?
A: Anything that will change the font will work, you can also add bars and tables.

Q: What about Java Script or advanced HTML?
A: I will not add Java Script, frames, or anything else that will greatly affect the page.

Q: Can I put a picture in my story/poem/member page?
A: Yes, but it has to be one you previously sent in (add a note in the description part that says you don't want it displayed as an image).

Q: How do I add the picture?
A: Edit your story/poem/member page and put the HTML code where the picture is to be placed. If there's something special you need done with it, add a note in parentheses and I'll do my best. The note will be deleted when I update the page.

Q: I don't want any banners on my page! Can I get rid of them?
A: Sorry, I can't do anything about the banners until I get my own domain.

Q: Do I have to sign up for the message boards?
A: No, you don't.

Q: This didn't work, I found an error, etc.
A: The message boards are hosted by ezboard.com, so I can't fix most of the errors you would find. If you know it's something I can fix, contact me.

Q: My message board isn't up yet! Why?
A: If you just joined Mystical Dreamers, it may take a while before it will show up.
