I guess like all stories..you start by opening the book..... I was born in Calgary, Canada. Growing up in Calgary meant a close proximity to the Canadian Rocky Mountains, four seasons, and always something to do. In the winter, I enjoyed snowboarding with my friends and family in Kananaskis Country and Banff. Likewise, in the summer, I hiked, biked and enjoyed various other outdoor activities.

Since a small girl, I had wanted to become a commercial airline pilot, however several senior math and physics classes changed my mind. Instead, I've decided to embrace my artistic side...I am planning on a career in Interior Design. Since leaving the University of Calgary, I have moved to Toronto, built an art portfolio as well as I got into Ryerson Polytechnic University...one of the top schools in Canada for Interior Design.

Since my move, I have truly discovered myself and my dreams. I have learned very important lessons such as true friendship transends space and time, nothing worth while comes easy (hard work pays off), the bond of family is undeniable and unbreakable, and true happiness occures when you let go of the past/future and live in the here and now.

I have also become very interested in my family's history. My lineage comes from the clan Wallace and McLauchlan. I am proud to be a part of both of these families and I feel that through the exploration of my roots, I will truly discover myself.

My future plans include finishing my four-year program at Ryerson to get my Interior Design degree, apprentice in either Vancouver, Calgary or Toronto, and then finally settle in Vancouver in a loft by the ocean, start a family and live happily ever after...anyway, that's my little rant. Take it or leave it, as they say.
