Setting: It is the year 1969 in Japan. Aliens called "invaders" has suddenly appeared threatening the very existence of the human race. To combat this threat, AEGIS (Alien Extermination Global Intercept System) has been formed. AEGIS starts searching for people who have gatepower, hence the name "Gatekeepers".
Plot: At the start of the anime, the story focuses around finding and recruiting the Gatekeepers. As the plot continues, they start kicking invader butts and character development commences. At the end..... nah! i won't spoil it, just watch it you won't be disappointed^_^!
Nagging Questions: Uh... these are DUMB questions but if anybody knows fill me in! How does Gatepower work? How do you get gatepower? Are you born with it? Why don't they make more GateRobots? What's needed? Who are the invaders? What do they really want? Thanx for listening and any reply would be greatly appreciated.^_~!
