Akamatsu Yoshisuke
B. 1533
An unremarkable figure, Yoshisuke submitted to the advancing Oda armies in 1577 and turned over Himeji-jo through the mediation of a much better known Akamatsu retainer, Kuroda Kanbei. The Akamatsu shared Harima with the fiestier Bessho clan, and were served by the Odera, Takashima, and Fukuhara.
