Other:Quatre is a scion of the wealthy middle eastern Winner family. He was raised in freedom without any restraints and is a kindhearted boy who loves the arts. At the same time, though, Quatre is pshchologically fragile which leads to problems during his reign as a Gundam Pilot. Quatre is the planner of the five pilots and will go to measures if it means that people will not get hurt. His father was killed by the colony that he was serving along with one of his 29 sisters. Because of that, he went a little crazy and decided to avenge them by destroying colonies and showing everyone how huge a loss he had suffered.(This rampage was mostly due to the Zero System which had Quatre under it's control the whole time). Heero and Trowa tried to stop his quest by he attacked Trowa by accident, sending him flying into space...possibly dead. Quatre then finally realized that what he was doing was wrong and, more-or-less, went back to normal. He did find Trowa later on and persuaded him to come back and fight with the other pilots.
Quatre also took charge of the Zero System when Heero left to fight Zechs, overcoming any fears he had of the system and allowing himself to nurture his hidden ability to command as a leader during a fight. Quatre also seems to be the closest to his Gundam. For example, when it was unavoidable that Sandrock sef-destruct to prevent pursuit by OZ, Sandrock helped Quatre escape and preformed the miracle of self-destructing by it's own will. Also, in a crucial point in the war, Quatre was in a fencing match with Dorothy Catalonia and was stabbed. He then helped Dorothy realize that war was wrong and healed up in time for "The Endless Waltz."
In Endless Waltz, Quatre was the one chosen to retrieve the Gundams after they were sent to burn up in the sun. He returned with them and fought against Mariemaia's army, helping the other pilots finally bring peace to the world.
MY TAKE
I personally think that Quatre is a wimp. I like him and everything but I don't think that gundam pilots should be as nice as he is. I also rate Quatre as one of the weaker pilots becuase of his sympathy and kindness which, good in people, could throw him off in a fight and possibly get him killed. Where he lacks in fighting skills, Quatre still is a good person and nice to others around him so he isn't all bad in my opinion. I just think that he could step up a little bit. His fighting and piloting skills are fair now. I think that if he stopped being so sympathetic, his skills would grow immensly and possibly even match Heero's.
