Mariemaia Khusrenada

VITAL STATISTICS Name: Mariemaia Khushrenada Age: 8 Ethnic Origin: Part Aryan Gender: Female Height: Unknown Weight: Unknown Eye Color: Ice Blue Hair Color: Red Other: Mariemaia was the child of Treize Khushrenada and Leia Barton. Since Leia was the daughter of Dekim Barton was opposed Treize, the two of them knew that they couldn't be together when Leia had the child to Treize let to command Oz and Leia kept Mariemaia. After Leia's death, Dekim finds out who Mariemaia's father is and uses it to his advantage. Mariemaia becomes Dekim's puppet, thinking that she is going to rule the world instead of just being a figurehead for her grandfather to control. She abducts Relena and declares war on the Earth Sphere United Nations.

Afer declaring war, she takes Relena to her fortress which she believes is impenetrable. While the gundams fight outside, she and her grandfather keep egging Relena on in order to try and get her to tell the citizen of Brussels (the place that they're attacking) to give up. When Heero blasts through the fortress, Dekim calls Mariemaia to his side and, in a trance-like state, she goes to do just that. She doesn't get far, though, because, Relena slaps her before she can reach her grandfather. After this, as well as a short speech from Relena, she begins to realize that she was wrong all along. When Dekim goes to shoot Relena, Mariemaia jumps in front of her and takes the bullet, admitting that she was indeed wrong about everything. When Heero shows up, Mariemaia asks him to relieve her of her pain...so he pulls the trigger of an unloaded gun, symbolizing the death of the old Mariemaia and birth of a new, more understanding one. In honor of Treize, Lady Une adopts Mariemaia as her own and they visit his grave together.

MY TAKE!!! Mariemaia pisses me off. She's accomplished more when she was 8 than I probably will in my entire life...and that's just sad. What else??? Well, she's quite the ambitious young tyke now isn't she? Okay...her laugh is just creepy and she talks to Relena like she's a baby. (although that doesn't bother me). The thing that DOES bother me is that she acts like she's the queen...the middle of everything...and everyone is so far below her that she doesn't even have to acknowledge them...she can just KILL them. Granted, that was probably Dekim's doing but I would like to think that she would have somewhat of a mind of her own. Plus, she takes a bullet for Relena...what a dumb-ass.
