NOTES:

The main source for the tables above is various tables in volumes of Europäische Stammtafeln.  However, a correspondent has pointed out that there are some minor differences between what is in ES and what is in The Complete Peerage. Normally I find that most information in The Complete Peerage is more accurate than other sources (especially more accurate than what is in other British Peerage works), but I also find ES to be well researched and up-to-date. That being said, here is what my correspondent has sent me on this subject:

“There is a chart in the article on Richmond in The Complete Peerage, 2nd ed., volume 10, that differs in some minor details from the information that you provide. It commences with your 1c) Geoffroy, Duc de Bretagne, but omits your 2d) Evenus de Bretagne, and has instead a daughter: Adela, abbess of St. Georges at Rennes, d. 1067. It also omits your 1f) Eudes, Cte de Porhoet, d.1095 and has at the same place Conan, a Crusader, killed at Antioch 9 Feb 1098.

The chart provides Rivallon, Cte de Penthièvre with an unnamed wife, da. of Gelduin de Dol, and a daughter:

Elina = Geoffrey Tournemine ? Tournemine, Seigneurs of La Hunaudaye.

Etienne I is shown as the youngest son of Eudes, with a note “It is not certain that Stephen was the son of Orguen”. His children are listed as:

Geoffrey Boterel II

Alan the Black

Henry

Maud, m. Walter de Gant ?

Theophania, m. Rabel de Tancarville, Chamberlin of Normandy ?

Olive.

The children of 3f) Henri, Cte de Treguier are shown as:

Henry

Alan

Conan

Geslin, living 1225

Stephen.”
