| This is a Christmas 2000 gift
from my wife. I found it while waiting for her to undergo a long surgery.
I told her about it next day while taking care of her. She actually said
'Why don't you go buy it, Honey?'.
You'll never have to tell me twice to buy a gun!
On the negative side: A previous owner

Chopped the stock (it was close to the muzzle). |

Dropped the front barrel band. |

Removed rear stripper guide (but plugged the holes
w/screws). |

Removed the sling swivels from the front and rear
bands. |

Removed the rear sight ladder. |
On the plus side:

The action is tight and like new. |

The bore is minty |

the crown is perfect |
| |
No metal has been cut |
| |
Finish of remaining parts is very nice. |
Note
the place where the missing stripper guides once where, and a screw placed
in the hole.

scope base mounted here?
