Everyone's Favorite Topographer is Back

*-yay-*
I hope you're able to hold your entusiastic cheers till the end of this segment, as happy as I know it makes you to know that Tingle is back.

Well, you probably know by now that the Legend of Zelda, GCN has linking capabilities to the GBA. There has been some confusion on this topic though, so first let me clear that up. The topic of linking discussed in the article has nothing to do with the remake of Link to the Past for GBA. This linking option operates the GBA without a cartrige. While there may be other link-abilities (shudder that the clever pun) for that game, no information is known at this time.

Moving on to today's main topic: The Glorious (or not so glorious) Return of Tingle, the 35 year old elf. The way this system works is as follows:
  1. Recover the GBA as an item in ZGC
  2. Link the GBA and the GC together, with Zelda in the GC, and no cart in the GBA
  3. In the game, at the appropriate time, "use" the Advance. This should activate a screen (on the GBA) looking something like these:
  4. You should now be able to gain special items, such as the "Tingle-Bomb", shown below:

As of recently, Tingle has been spotted in screens for ZGC, so its a safe bet to say we'll get another dose the that creepy old elf-guy in ZGC.
