BIGT's review of The Legend of Zelda:
Oracle of Ages
This is the 2nd, or 3rd, depending on how you look at it, GameBoy Game of the
Zelda series, and I'd have to say, nintendo did a very good job on this game. I think it, or
maybe oracle of seasons, if its as good, takes the throne as the best game for the GBC. Some of
the high points:
- GREAT STORY
- GOOD CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT
- EXCELENT GAMEPLAY
Those are just to name a few, and there are many more. One of the other things about this game,
or game(s) for that matter, it that you play the first one, and if you just absolutly can't
get enough of it, There's a Sequel! Which makes the Oracle series just that much sweeter.
OK, about now your thinking, what makes this game so damn hot? I'll tell you, its a
challenging game; the puzzels are challenging, as are the battles, and the side quests, but there's
just one difference, thet're fun. Somehow, Nintendo put a challenge, and some fun, into 1
cart. Along whith that, they included a host of new features, characters, and weapons, one of them
was totaly new, however, something I've never seen before, is the option to save after you beat the
game, and you have the freedom to roam the land, all your equipment still works, even the harp of
ages, in a time of peace.
What do you do now you might ask? The only remaining thing is the trading event, and the task of
finding the 10 secrets in Labrynna, you already have one, and when you beat the game, don't worry
about writing the Secret to Holodrum, after you save, go back to the
Maku tree, climb that ladder, and go inside to see Farore. She'll have a book on the counter and
that's where all of your secrets are writen down.

CONCLUSION: Deserves a high place among Zelda games, and the highest among GameBoy Games.
