Star Wars: Rogue Squadron II walkthrough

Well since I own the game and beat it rather quickly I thought I may as well make a walkthrough so there you go.

Tech Upgrades
In every non-bonus level there're some kind of upgrade to your weapons or ships in general and since you want these things, and you do, I'm gonna tell you where each is. Also I'm not gonna say what item it is because frankly I never noticed myself. I just know where they are. I'm gonna state the level and tell you what item's in it.

Death Star Attack
When you get to the TIE Fighter scenerio you'll be able to find an upgrade somewhere along the surface. You'll have to look around because I don't think anyone knows directly where this item is.

Ison Corridor Ambush
When you start the level you'll see a couple large pieces of debri in front of you. The one right in front of you and a little low has a tunnel going through it. Fly through it to pick up the upgrade.

Battle of Hoth
After you trip 3 AT-ATs and another one blows up the shield generator you'll find yourself pointed toward Echo Base. Turn around toward the crater that the base used to be. In it will be an upgrade.

Prisons of the Maw
After you destroy the first two sets of guns you'll need to destroy the radio towers. If you proceed in a straight line toward these from the last objective you'll pass a tower and a dome like structure. Bomb the dome to find the upgrade inside.

Razor Rendevous
As soon as you start the mission look around and you'll find an escaping fighter blow it up and it'll drop the upgrade.

Vengeance on Kothlis
When you reach the crashed star destroyer fly up to the front of the main control deck and fly into a hole on the left side of it and out the other side to obtain the upgrade. It's a tight squeeze.

Raid on Bespin
Destroy the guns and the Intercepters quick-like then proceed to the next gas stores. You'll see one of those unidentified big ass ships flying away to the left as you aproach. Blow it up and a couple gas cans will expldoe as well. Where the gas cans where is the upgrade.

Battle of Endor
When you have to destroy the two Star Destroyers attck the one to your left. When it's disabled and sinks to a low depth fly into its docking bay to get the tech out of it.

Strike at the Core
Near the end of the tunnel, after those to vertical turns you'll see some pipes curving in the bottom right corner. Fly through them and one of them will have the tech under it. Right before the core room.

The Vehicles
Here I'll list the ships and other crap friend and foe.
Rebel Ships
X-Wing- A well rounded ship. It has a pair of wings on each side of it called S-Foils. When the S-Foils are closed the X-Wing can travel at its top speed, however they will have to be opened to attack. It comes equiped with a little above average shields and 4 laser cannons. It's secondary weapon are proton torpedoes.

Y-Wing- A ship made for bombing missions. It has the cockpit up in front and two large engines in the back shapnig it like a Y. It has heavy armor which is good since it moves really slow, and has no kind of speed boost. It, however, comes with a heavy weapon array including two laser cannons stationed close together in front of the cockpit, 20 proton bombs that it can restore in time, and an Ion Cannon.

A-Wing- A modified stunt flier. It is one of the smaller ships and moves exeptionally fast. It is capable of using retro burners to give it a brief speed boost. It comes equiped with two laser cannons set far apart on what I guess you'd call its wings. It also comes with paired sets of concussion missiles which will blow through smaller objects and hit whatever's on the other side. This ship's big disadvantage is its shields which are only higher then a TIE Fighter's (which suck).

B-Wing- An odd shaped ship designed by Admiral Ackbar. It is shaped like a cross which makes ackward to manuever and easier to hit. It has decent shields and a good amount of weapons including 3 laser cannons mounted on the end of each point, proton torpedoes, and an Ion Cannon. It can also fold it's wings up to gain higher speeds like the X-WIng, but must open them again to attack.

Snowspeeder- Not made for use in 0 gravity, it is deployed on planets only. It will not touch the ground under it making it easy to manuever. Its best use is to trip AT-ATs with its secondary Tow Cable. It has 2 laser cannons mounted apart on its wings.

Cloud Car- Well the Rebels use it anyway. A vehicle used around Bespin. It has a wide speed range and two laser cannons. It has a little above average sheilds... and that's about it.

Naboo Fighter- A secret ship I'll explain how to obtain in the walkthrough. It can perform tight barrel roles and moves rather fast able to use retro burners to give it a even larger, yet temporary, speed boost. It has 2 strong lasers mounted close that are green which is strange compared to the other ship's red lasers. The fighters shields are slightly less then normal but not enough to hender it. It's secondary weapon is the proton torpedoes. This is my preferred ship.

The Millenium Falcon- An illegally modified ship piloted by Han Solo and co-piloted by Chewbacca. It moves very fast and can out run most other rebel ships without using Retro Burners. It has an assortment of weapons used differently in different missions. It has lasers all over it two close mounted ones in the front are used primarily in dog fights. It's secondary weapon is cluster missiles. It also comes equiped with pretty good shields, but because of its size compared to smaller fighters its easy to hit. It makes poor turns so it is best to use the Z button to turn it to the side and make a vertical turn at high speeds.
Slave I-Well it's more of a neutral ship. This modified ship is piloted by the bounty hunter Boba Fett. It comes with some impossible to aim lasers and the worst traits of the Y-Wing and the Millenium Falcon. It' said to have tons of weapons on it though all you get is 20 sets of cluster missiles wish really isn't a bad thing but it makes it only semi useful. Did I mention it's shields suck and it always gets hit?
Emperial Ships
I know why the Empire always loses space battles. It's because their ships suck. Their TIEs are weak and their lasers fire real fast. Oh, and their shields suck, and they don't have any targeting computers too.
TIE Fighters- These are the common Twin Ion Engine ships and the first model made. They have two fast firing weak lasers in front and terrible shields. This thing doesn't even have a secondary weapon.
The Advanced- A fighter specially designed for Darth Vader. It can be recognized by its curved wings. It is much better equiped then other TIEs with really cool Cluster Missiles, but it's lasers still suck though. It has no life support systems on board because Vader's suit supplies it. It also moves faster then a normal TIE.
TIE Interceptor- Just a souped up normal TIE. It can be recognized by its 2 points on each curved wing. It has 4 heavy laser cannons on the points.
TIE Bomber- Like it's name says it's for bombing. It's heavily armored and I think it has some lasers somewhere on it. It fires single concussion missles from that thing that looks like an extra cockpit. It also has proton bombs.
Lombada Shuttle- It has three wings, two on the bottom and one on top. It can raise the bottom wings to slow down and land. It's simply made for carrying cargo. It doesn't move fast and has poor weapons. One laser in the front and some inacurate rear lasers as a secondary weapon.
All-Terrain Armored-Transport (AT-AT)- I think this is a rather memorable craft from the movies. It's a giant ground unit put in motion by 4 mechanical legs. It's meant to carry stuff and has some heavy lasers on the cockpit. It has heavy shields on it that can't be pierced by lasers. Their only weak point is their legs which can tripped by the snow speeder's tow cable.
All-Terrain Scout-Transport (AT-ST)- This is similar to an AT-AT in ways. Instead of 4 legs it has 2 and walks like a bird giving it the nickname "chicken walker". This thing can be damaged by heavy lasers; meaning only on ships and not hand guns. The same trip method applies to these too.
All-Terrain Personal-Transport (AT-PT)-A really weak AT-ST I guess. They're from the books. They have 2 weak lasers mounted on they're head and they take about 5 quad shots from a craft. Bombs KO them.
The Walkthrough 'bout time, eh? I'll divide this up into levels and give whatever advice I can give and point you in the right direction. Also I'll give a seperate gold medal walkthrough to each level at the end. Here goes:

Tatooine Training
THIS IS WHERE YOU GET THE NABOO FIGHTER. Just to get your attention since I knew you might skip it since... well it's a damn training level. Basicaly what you have to do to get it is beat the thing at different times of the day: morning, noon, evening, and night. Do it finish all times quickly enter the set up screen on your Cube and change the time around since this level uses real-time. So here's how you complete this "level". You have to do a bunch of pointless tasks: finding a bunch of objects, nuking numbers of womp rats, and racing people. All this has to be done in 20 minutes so go quick like. You'll start out flying some ship I don't know the name of. In front of you should be a large building. This is Jabba's Palace: one of the items you need to find. Fly over it to "find" it. Later return when you've learned how to use Proton Bombs and blow the palace up with about 10 of them to find the C-3PO bonus item only during the daytime however. Right behind the palace you should see a bunch of black dots in a big group. That's a really a Bantha herd which is another item. Fly over it. Now you've gotta find 4 other herds but at least you know what they look like. Past those you'll see what looks like a rock pile or something. That's the city Mos Eisley, and down there in the middle of it is a hard to find item. It's a crashed TIE Fighter and it's really small it's in a kind of cleared area that you have to fly low over for the fidn to be registered. Now that you have those 3 items turn right and you'll see a kind of valley. This is the Womp Rat targeting range. Fly through the orange Rebel symbol and you'll fly to a certain location and be told by the announcer to shoot 20 womp rats in 30 seconds. That shouldn't be to difficult just fire wildly at the little moving dots down there, and make sure to fire into dense areas of them so you'll definately hit something. You'll then be given the objective of shooting 40, then 60. If you wanna try to: shoot 60 on the 20 objective and it'll count to the other 2 objectives. Ok, I'm not gonna tell you where to find all the items because it tells you on the radar. Just go in the direction of that beam, which is turning till it points up, and scan the ground. When the beam starts to widen that means you right above it. It really helps. Now, the other objectives. You have to fly through every orange Rebel symbol and do all the things it tells you to do. The one in the valley next to a building is especially useful since then you can use proton bombs and blow up Jabba's Palace. Also a symbol between the womp rat grounds and the proton bomb training is one that let's you race Biggs and Wedge to Toshi Station. When you start use use your Retro Burners making sure not to hit your competitors and fly through each symbol in your path. Use your Burners every time they recharge to stay ahead. When you see no more symbols turn a little to the left and fly toward the building to win the race. Return to the start ponit to race them again this time it's harder. Your defiantly gonna have to fly the shortest distance between the different Rebel symbols (a straight line) and use your burners the second you get the chance. If you do that you'll be ok. Now the other race is when you touch the rebel symbol in an open area over the canyon. You'll then have to race Biggs through it. Now the actual finish line to this place is to the left of where you start, but you can't leave the canyon or even fly very high out of it. So when you're flying through take a route that heads leftward and kind of turns back on your radar (by the way, there's sort of a map on the radar the dark area is the canyon so use that to your advantage) when you reach another open area you win. You have to use both courses. When you start out there'll be a fork in the canyon the right is easy and the left is hard. Also use your Retro Burners when you start out and don't hit your breaks again or use the burners again for that matter. If your not sure where to go just follow Biggs and when you get to the end (the dark spot on the radar will end and get wider) just use your burners to get ahead of him.
Well that's what you do to beat the training. It is a lot and it takes a while. Also don't forget you gotta do this morning, noon, evening, and night to get the Naboo Fighter. Which I suggest you do because it's a kick ass ship.

Death Star Attack
Survival Walkthrough
The first two parts of this level are fairly easy for beginners. In the first part tell your wingmen to go after the guns then start firing at those big towers. It takes a lot of shots to take them out. After you destroy that one turn sharply to the left and destroy those. Their easy to find so I won't need to tell you the rest. After that you'll go into a scene where a bunch of TIE Fighter's attack. This will be an easy dog fight. It’s actually pretty fun. Tell your wingmen to attack the fighters and go at them yourself as well. They attack in groups of about 3 and 4. Don’t fire at the middle fighter or they’ll split up. Target, blast, when it catches on fire or falls move on. If you can’t find any fighters turn your targeting computer and look for some green blotches those are the TIEs. After you finish all them off you’ll make the trench run. This can be hard if you don't focus. You have to stay in the trench also or else you'll get shot down be the auto guns. There's also some guns in the trench itself. Stay high and you won't get hit by them but you my as well take them out, too. In an area of the trench you'll have to avoid a bunch of metal... thingies.. stretched across it. I can't give any tips to avoid you'll just have to, well, avoid them. The obstacles won't last long and you'll have to go through a long area with TIEs appearing behind you every once and a while. Hit the breaks and they'll fly ahead of you. Hit them quick and keep going. It's a good idea to close your S-foils while your not being attacked to finish this fast. Eventaully Darth Vader's Advanced will trail you. Hit the breaks and blast at him. He'll leave so keep speeding. If you where gonig at full speed the next time he comes Han will probably get rid of him then its all downhill. When you see the end of the trench approaching switch on your targeting computer to see where the vent is and fire a proton torpedo low to get it. It'll then show a cutscene of the Death Star exploding in the Episode IV special edition and the ships flying away in the background. Congrats you beat it.

The first level's one of the hardest gold medals. Your biggest problems going to be the number of enemies you have to kill. Start off and start firing at the tower in front of you. Make sure to cut your blasts off after it's exploded. Now go for the turbo lasers around it. That's what you gotta do in this first scene is take out a lot of turbo lasers before you finsih with the towers. But kind of pace yourself. Take out a tower take out the turbo lasers around it then go to the next one picking off lasers along the way. After you've destroyed all the towers and taken out plenty of lasers you'll get to the TIEs (keep in mind you should try to do this quick-like). Tell your friendlies to go after the guns then focus on the TIEs. Now there's a certain thing you should keep yourself from doing. The TIEs stay in a horizontal line formation of 5 usually. Don't attack the TIE in the middle, the one with two on each side of it. If you do that all the TIEs will split up and it'll be harder to finish them. So attack them by getting behind and passing them making sure to save the middle one for last. Do this fast too and keep your accuracy up. They way to get good accuracy is to just shoot in bursts don't continuosly fire away. When your finished with the TIEs you'll go to the trench run. Close your S-Foils and fly through. When you start seeing green flashed down at the bottom get ready to take out some turbo lasers; you need them for the high enemy count. Try to get all of the lasers safely. When your done with the first half and there's no more pipes or whatever for you to hit close your S-Foils again. When you get near some of the turbo lasers fly low and shoot a quad blast at them. When you encounter the TIEs take your time to kill them. When Darth Vader attacks you I've found that you shouldn't shoot at him it doesn't help your accuracy. From then on close your S-Foils. When you see the wall with the vent fire a proton torpedo near the bottom of it at a distance and your done.
________________________________Quick Tips________________________________
-Don't shoot the middle TIE in the formation till last
-The towers boost your accuracy
-Shooting Darth Vader will do more harm then good for accuracy -Turbo lasers are the extra enemies you need

Ison Corridor Ambush
Survival Walkthrough
This is all one big dog fight. If you took my advice and got the Naboo fighter select that at the beginning and go into the level. You'll appear in space with a bunch of debris from the last group that passed through there. Feel confident? Well fly forward and you'll hear one of your teammates report fighters approaching from all directions. It's hard to see with them against the blackness so turn on your targeting computer to see which direction they're in then go at 'em. You'll have to blow all of them up pretty quick or else they'll destroy to many transports and that'll fail the mission. After you eliminate those fighters, which you should have told your wingmen to help in, another wave will approach so get them too. After that you'll enter another scene where visibility is even worse. You'll get a reading of TIE Interceptors approaching from the Nebula and have it suggested you change to an A-Wing. Fly into the blue Rebel Symbol under the Frigate Redemption to change craft. Do it for at least a second so you can use the A-Wing in later missions. Now go get the fighters and make use of your targeting computer so you can see them. Some Interceptors may tail you. Make some sharps turns to get rid of them or tell your wingmen to form up so it'll get scared off. These TIEs will focus a lot on the transports so make sure to stay around them to get rid of all them because the level won't end until you do. As said after you fight off all the TIEs you'll end the level.

There's a big trick to this and that's get Slave I. This is your only ship with cluster missiles so far and you need it. Along with the cluster missiles you need the upgrade that allows you to have homing clusters. Now when your dog fighting just shoot some clusters into the waves of TIEs. Do this to each group and your done pretty much with everything in the level. For the second part just shoot a set where you see the green lasers. You can flip your targeting computer on for a split second like once or twice if need be. ________________________________Quick Tips________________________________
-Slave I's homing clusters are your saving grace
-You can't afford to use your targeting computer to much

Battle of Hoth
Cool level. You'll start out flying through a valley and your two wingmen will join you shortly. Continue through the valley and you'll wind up in a big open area. There'll be a building to to your right. That's the Ion cannon: the thing you're protecting from the AT-STs, and that's exactly what you need to take out. Tell your wingmen to go after them and if they ever complain about being no match for them send them after the guns. Now this is a good way to attack the AT-STs (which are the two legged walkers). There's a group of 3 coming from two different directions. If you turn left after you come out the valley you'll see a group and then another group behind them. That's a total of 9 walkers to destroy. But! There's one more then you can prevent from coming. There's a cargo ship landing behind that back row of walkers with a cargo hold full of storm troopers and a ST. If you blow that box up they'll all get destroyed and the cargo ship will fly away and not return. Don't destroy the cargo ship itself or it'll just drop the box and it'll open. Well that one's out of the way. Now hit your breaks and turn around. Fire away at on the STs in the back wave. Afgter it explodes speed past then hit your breaks behind the front wave and blow another one up two or three if you can without passing their blind spot. Repeat this and don't waste time because if they fire enoguh at that cannon it'll explode and you'll fail the mission. Destroy the 6 STs coming from one directions then there'll be 3 others on approaching from a different direction. They probably won't be hanging on to well so finish them off and you'll be told to take out the AT-ATs, the big 4 legged walkers. Fly near one and the longest cutscene in the game will start. After it's over proceed the way your facing till you get t othe front line of ATs. You'll have to trip three of them and the ones in the front are the biggest threat. Now the way you string an AT is a little hard but you will get better with practice. Fly past their legs kind of close and press B. A cord will be connected to the walker and you. Circles kind of clsoe around it a couple times then it'll play a cutscene of it fall over and you'll start out at a safe distance. Take the other two nearby ones out then head back. A cutscene will play of a AT-AT destroying the shield generator you where protecting from them. So you'll have to head back to Echo Base and protect the escaping transports. You'll start playing in a valley again and again fly through it. When you get to the open area with all the transports fly throguh the blue rebel symbol to switch to an X-Wing. Speed away then turn around and turn on your tareting computer to view the approaching TIE Fighters and Bombers. If any have appeared green already (they stay pink if your at a distance) attack those. The Bombers will drop proton bombs on the transports. They'll ignore you unless you get infront of them so catch up behind them and fire at their tails. There's 9 of them and you can tell your wingmen to help. After you destroy al lthe Bombers you will complete the mission.

Yeah this level has plenty of difficulties. First is enemies which you're going to be short on. Next is accuracy which you'll barely make. And after that is your friendlies... which die. With that done let me let you in on something else. Those little snowtroopers don't count as enemies or accuracy so leave them alone. When you start the level straight in front of you at the bottom of the valley you're in is a line of probe droids. Try to destroy them when you get closer then just sweep a line of pink laser across them. That should get enough to help your enemy count. Next climb too the highjest altitude above the hill. The speeder has this thing that you can only stay a certain distance above ground. So the higher the ground the higher you go. You'll be met with a AT-ST problem. There'll be a group of 3 getting close to the cannon and another group of 4 behind them at your view. Go at the group of 4. From far away link your lasers and get a ST in sight and just shoot till it goes boom. Then go at another in the same group. Ok you've got 2 out of 4 in that group down. Now turn to your left till you see the back of the valley and 3 STs coming toward you. Focus on one, take it, and pass them. Now behind this group is a drop shuttle thingy carrying a metal box. This box houses another ST and a bunch of snowtroopers. As I told you troopers don't coutn as enemies killed so they'll just be in the way. So wait for the ship to get level with you then blow up the box and next the ship as it tries to take off.
Prisons of the Maw
It's a pain in the ass level, woo-hoo! Ok you'll start flying a Y-Wing for a distance far to long for its slowness. Keep moving forward when the TIEs attack tell your wingmen to get rid of them and ignore them. You'll come up to a big blue screen. This is a force field stopping your approach. Charge up your Ion Cannon and hit three of the metal satellite like things in the web of it. There you completed that area hope the TIEs and guns didn't cause to much trouble. Now you'll arrive an asteroid or moon or something with a prison on it full of prisoners from the battle of hoth. They're trying to escape and need you to get rid of the guns around their train. Turn on your targeting computer and look for some green splotches and fly in that direction. When you reach a building in that direction and machine gun lasers coming from the towers start blasting at you turn on your bombs and get rid of each and every one of them. The train will head to another building to get some more weapons and you need to destroy the guns around that one too. Find the gun area with your targeting computer. Next you've got to bomb a bunch of radio towers so no one can contact reinforcements. Again find them with your targeting computers. Tell your wingmen to take out the guns and start bombing all the big satalite buildings. It takes 2 bombs for each and you may run out. Just fly away for a sec and let your bomb supply restore itself. After you get rid of the towers you once again need to take out some guns. Find them with your computer and fly there, and it may take a while. Interceptors will have shown up by now and'll be tailing you keep moving and try to out manuever their shots. Tell your wingmen to get rid of the TIEs and take out that last set of guns. The prisoners will now escape in a cargo ship with the interceptors attacking it. Take out some of them if you want to but they'll probably be ok. After about 30 seconds they'll enter hyperspace and you're done.

Razor Rendevous
You'll come out of hyper space in a B-Wing and find an actual big ass Star Destroyer sucking up the speeder you where suppose to escort. Your two main objectives are too disable the star destroyer and protect the frigate (the big ship you came out of hyper space with and the same one you switched to an A-Wing with in Ison Corridor) it'd be a good idea to remember what it look like in later missions. After about 30 seconds in the mission you'll get word from the annoying commander of the frigate that they're udner attack and need your help. Tell your wingmen to attack the TIEs and fly to the frigate to help. The ones that show up in green on your targeting computer are the ones you have to destroy. Get all those until Wedge says it looks ok and go back to the Star Destroyer. Taking out a Destroyer is hard. First: don't slow down near it all those guns on it can't hit you if your moving fast and if your not scraping the side of it of course. They only have one blind spot where they can't hit you. That's approaching from the lower back. So that's how you should take out the two shields on top which are those big balls (they turn green on the targerter). The hard part is taking out the sheild udner it though. This is the best way. Fly to the front of the Destroyer and the fly low and approach the bottom of it from the front at an angle. The sheild generator turns green on the radar and look like a big weird looking ceiling light. Fire 3 torpedoes at it then fire your lasers non stop till it blows and make like hell back to the blind spot of the ship. After you take out the 3 generators you gotta go for the main deck. Fly over the top of it at a safe-ish distance. That big sqaure part sticking off the top with the two sheild generators mounted on it has the main control deck in the middle of it. It turns green on the targeter. Fire any torpedoes you have left at it then start shooting your lasers at it. Now if you have 2 or 3 lives left just crash into it and it'll blow up the Destroyer. There you took it out now how're you gonna get the runner back?

Vengeance on Kothlis
Got ground under you again. Ain't that great? Ok you're protecting a transport heading to the the crashed star destroyer from a bunch of TIES and a pair of Interceptors. Start out and tell your wingmen to attack them then scan the horrison with your computer and go after some TIEs. As you pass each other fire some shots and try to take a couple out. If you happen to see some interceptors definately go after them because they'll follow and annoy you. Just destroy all the fighters you can find especially the ones trailnig the transport that show up green when you bring up the targeting computer. Fend all them off till the transport lands on the shore next to the destroyer. Keep your distance from the destroyer since it's guns are still active. When the transport lands 3 AT-ATs will blast out of the destroyer and go at the transport. Land next t othe transport to get a snowspeeder and go string the AT-ATs. Hope you can do that by now. After you take down the 3 a team of regular people will leave the transport and head over to the destroyer to get the data out of it. Go back to the transport and fly into the symbol on the far right to switch to a Y-Wing. Two things must be done now. There are A LOT of AT-PTs coming from the destroyer. You can use your bombs to take them out while still in the water which is suggested since they'll start to wipe out the team when they get close to the surface. Try to bomb into the middle of the groups to save your stockpile and get more. If you have difficulty seeing them switch to your targeting computer out of bombing mode to see some green splotches under water. Also its easy to just use your targeting computer in bombing made to make sure you're hitting them dead on. When you get rid of that first wave you'll be told about the weak part in the hull of the star destroyer. You need to drop a lot of bombs on the front of the star destroyer to open it up and cool the reactor not to mention let the team in. The targeting computer tells you where the weak spot is. There's a problem thoguh there's another wave of AT-PTs coming out so you'll need to even out your objectives. You will run out of bombs so just shoot some of the PTs making their way out of the water til you restore some your bombs and get rid of any groups that are too far ashore. If that's not needed go bomb the hull some more. It's hard to balance this but you'll make it.

Raid on Bespin
This level would be damn hard if you don't know what to do. Your gonna have to save a bunch of floating gas containters from TIE Interceptors and some guns on air balloons. The TIEs are no trouble you've had enoguh practice, but those guns... Don't shoot the guns shoot the rockets keeping the balloons up. Just shoot a some lasers or a missle into the little flame thingies in the balloon from a low approaching angle and it'll explode in a fiery haze, pretty... So do that to those gun mounts there and go after the TIEs. When the transports reaches the platforms look through the clouds with your targeting computer and fly toward the pink and green smudges. Now you've got two gas platforms and two gun platforms. Snuff the guns and go after some TIEs till the transports arrive. Now the next part is hard. There's about 3 or 4 gas platforms and 6 gun platforms. Fly very low to start out and take them all out is all I can say. Then go after the TIEs and let the transport get there. You'll enter Bespin/Cloud City. Now your gonna have to take out 3 generators that are in the trenches around the city. I suggest flying into one of the blue symbols ontop of a building to switch to a sturdier and variated speed craft: a Cloud Car. With that hit the breaks and turn around with your computer on looks for a green blur in the city. Fly toward it and when you're real close fly into one of the trenches that it looks like its in. When you come across a machine in there hit your breaks and start shooting your lasers at it till it explodes. Repeat this on the other two then you'll hear that the emperials are bombing the gas containers near the city. Fly out to get a look and you'll see the containers. Fly there and take out the gun platform near it and go after the TIE Bombers. You're gonna have to destroy all of them to beat the level get some help from your wingmen and do so.

Battle of Endor
Rrgh, damn computer froze up I would've been done by now. Ok, you're gonna start out heading toward the Death Star. Lando, piloting the Millenium Falcon, will figure out the sheild's still on and tell's everyone to retreat. Turn around to see the bigger ships in your cavalry and a bunch of star destroyers behind them. When you get into your group you'll then be warned of approaching fighters. Turn on your targeting computer and point it at the Star Destroyers to see about a hundred TIEs heading toward your ships. The frigate is what you gotta protect so stay near it and when a group of TIEs reach it just try to destroy as many as possible while staying healthy. The TIE Interceptors won't cause to much trouble even when a second smaller group attacks. The thing you'll have to worry about is the group of Bombers that attack later. When you hear the message that they're approaching check the destroyers with your targeting computer to see a bunch of green dots coming toward you, the green means important and they are because you need to destroy all of them before they destroy the frigate. Use your targeting computer to find them then tail and destroy. After you finish all them off you gotta destroy two star destroyers. You start out facing them and go for the left since its closer. Speed toward and angle down low to destroy the bottom generator. Some TIEs will drop out of them so tell your wingmen to destract them. Pass by the generator firing a pair of torpedoes at it and blasting away. Try to destroy it in one pass. Then fly to its blind spot gain some distance then turn around and go at the top generators trying not to use any more torpedoes. After you destroy both fly to the top of it turn around and go at full attack speed start firing and the command deck and fire a torpedoe. Repeat this until you blow it up. Now go and repeat that process on the other destroyer. During this Admiral Ackbar will fly his Home One into the destroyers hopelessly try to attack them. Tell your wingmen to attack the TIEs and ignore him yourself since you'll destroy the star destroyers before Home One explodes and we lose everyone's favorite cat fish. Ok Star Destroyers are down, Death Star's sheild's down. Mission Complete.

Strike at the Core
Wouldn't make the battle of endor all one big mission would they? You'll start out on the surface behind the Millenium Falcon and you need to protect it from the TIEs that'll be tailing it. The Falcon flies faster then you do in attack mode so close your S-Foils to catch up with it. Also stay above the laser towers so they won't hit you as much. Doing all the three of these items proceed. Watch out for the TIEs coming up behind you because they will run into you. When you see a big circle of girders on the horizon, eleminate any emediate trailing fighters, close your S-Foils, and fly into the metal ring. This is the entrance to the core of the death star. You'll start out in a tunnel with the falcon and three fighter ahead of you. Fire down the middle of the tunnel to get rid of all three then catch up to the Falcon. Through out the run your gonna get passed by TIEs to take out the Falcon. You need to get rid of all of them; it's not to hard. Your gonna come up to turns int the tunnel as long as your S-Foils are open you'll make it. When you reach the vertical turns you're almost done. Enter an extremely large room with a big blue energy thing and you'll be told to destroy the north tower. Fly toward this blue thing, which is the core of the death star. When you get within firing range fire at the pipe at the top of it shoot. It turns green on your targeting computer. Now you're gonna have to escape the Death Star before the enternal explosions moving out of it reach you. You're gonna have to move fast and the only trick is to close your S-Foils everytime you're in a straight area in the tunnel. Open them when you need to make a turn and watch out the Millenium Falcon might hit you. Once you get out you've beat the mission and the game.

Bonus Missions
There are 3 bonus missions I know of and their all simple:

Death Star Escape
You can open this with 20 points. It's almost like a mini-game you simply use a gun while the Millenium Falcon's being flown to destroy a bunch of TIE Fighters. The faster and more accurate you are the better your medal. Nothing else.

The Asteroid Field
Another level where you use the Falcon. You gotta make your way through an asteroid field like the beginning of prisons of the maw. TIEs will constantly be trailing you, and here's how you get throgh without getting hit once. First your ship has a rear laser that automatically turns on when there's a fighter behind you. Use that to get any that appear directly behind you. For the ones not there fly close between asteroids or fly over one and put it between you and all the TIEs will keep moving in a straight line and hit them. Also the easiest wayto get Ties to leave you alone for a second: just hit your brakes then speed up and they'll quit tailnig you for about 10 seconds. Also try blowing a bigger asteroid into and fly between the seperating peices. When you can see a bunch of Star Destroyers nearby head toward them. Your gonna see a bunch of big asteroids that you aren't gonna be able to avoid but don't worry you'll go throguh them for some reason. I guess so you get rid of any TIEs still behind you. Fly into the blue Rebel Symbol behind the Star Destroyer to beat the level.

Triumph of the Empire
Pretty cool you get to control Darth Vader in his advanced and destroy some Rebels. This proves that the Empire's arsenal sucks. Its hard to hit anything and al lthe ships have good sheilds. You'll start out on the first Death Star's surface like the second scene in "Death Star Attack" You need to destroy a certain number of Rebel ships to continue and they have the upper hand. They'll constantly tail you in large numbers, they can reach higher altitude, and they can go out of bounds. Well destroy a bunch of rebel ships then you'll fly to the trench. What you have to do is blow up the groups of rebels that keep running down the trench to the vent attempting to blow it up. Chase them down the trench and blow them up. When the next group flies through fly above the trench in the opposite direction you where moving and look for a red glow in it. Repeat this 3 times and you've completed the level.

What to do afterward
After viewing the credits some options will be open up.

1.) There's a bonus mission above the core strike that you can open for 30 points where you play as Darth Vader.
2.) In the special features there's a documentary on the making of this game which makes use of the space they had left over from only making 15 levels.
3.) The commentary will open up in special features. This just has people talking in the background of each level about how they made it.
4.) If you have a medal in each level the Millenium Falcon is a playable ship.

There's my walkthrough. Hope it helped.
