Giving - The Goods and Bads

The Goods:
It can give you friends. Even though they will take advantage of your giving, they can sometimes help you out in cases of emergencies. Also, if you are known to be a good-hearted person, it can sometimes help you in cases where you are blamed for bad doings. It gives you character and belief. It will give you no enemies. Giving can sometimes be of some help.
The Bads:
The more you give, the less you lose. If you give it all, you are left with nothing. Sometimes, people will thank you for giving and give you their gratitude. What the fuck does that do? Somebody says, "Thank you" and you say, "No problem. I always screw myself." Saying thank you is what they will give you for giving to them. You give them something out of your time and expense and you get two fucking words that will not do a damn good to you. Giving is mainly of good heart. Most people will either take advantage of it, say "thank you" or they will sometimes not even care. In the longrun, giving weakens you and makes you more unfortumate because some of the things you give, you will never get back. Sometimes it can be of some help, but in most cases, you give and you never recieve.
Some helpful tips:
Stay away from giving too much. If you need someone to help you, give to them and they might give back to you. Of course, you will be unfortunate in one way or another. You will give a lot and they will give little back or you will give a lot and they will give you nothing. The only way that I can see that it can be beneficial is if the little they give you is worth the lots and lots you give them; and of course, you have no gurantee of getting anything at all. It is at your own risk. Sometimes if you give things that do not benefit you at the time, it is better than helping somebody and giving them something that does benefits you. If you have something of no value, give it to someone that will appreciate it. Never give something that has a lot of value to you and give it away. Always watch what you do and what you give and you will be successful at the end.
