The Stations of the Cross

in the form most American Catholics know best are of comparatively recent vintage in Church terms, dating back to the year the U.S. Constitution was ratified.

However, their history goes back well before that, to the days when pilgrims were first openly able to go to Jerusalem and walk in the footsteps of Jesus on Good Friday.

The Emperor Constantine permitted Christians to legally worship in the Roman Empire in 313 after 250 years of persecution. In 335, he erected the Church of the Holy Sepulcher at the site where Jesus' tomb was believed to have been.

Processions of pilgrims to the church, especially during Holy Week, began soon after its completion.

A woman named Egeria, a pilgrim from France, described one such pilgrimage which took place in the fourth century. The bishop of Jerusalem and about 200 pilgrims began "at the first cockcrow" at the site of Jesus' agony on Holy Thursday night.

They said a prayer, sung a hymn, and heard a Gospel passage, then went to the garden of Gethsemane and repeated the procedure.

They continued to Jerusalem itself, "reaching the (city) gate about the time when one man begins to recognize another, and thence right on through the midst of the city. All, to a man, both great and small, rich and poor, all are ready there, for on that special day not a soul withdraws from the vigils until morning," Egeria wrote.

Pilgrimages eventually took a fixed route from the ruins of the Fortress Antonia, where Pilate had his judgment hall, to the Church of the Holy Sepulcher.

That route through Jerusalem's Old City gained acceptance as the way Jesus went to his death and remains unchanged today. It is known as the Via Dolorosa, Latin for the "Sorrowful Way."

Stops developed on the way to note specific events on the road to Calvary. In many cases, the pilgrims could only guess where some incidents took place because Jerusalem had been almost completely destroyed by Roman armies in 70 A.D.

The pilgrims brought back oil from the lamps that burned around Jesus' tomb and relics from the holy places, and sometimes tried to recreate in Europe what they had seen in the Holy Land. The Moslem conquest of Palestine in the seventh century made such shrines more significant, since it made travel to the Holy Land dangerous.

Devotions to the Way of the Cross began in earnest after 1342, when the Franciscan friars were given custody of the holy sites in the Holy Land. The Franciscans have been closely identified with the devotion ever since; for years, Church regulations required a set of the stations to be blessed by a Franciscan when possible.

The number of stations varied widely, with some manuals of devotion listing as many as 37. The term "stations" in describing the Way of the Cross was first used in the narrative of an English pilgrim, William Wey, who visited the Holy Land twice in the 15th century.

Depictions of the events described in the Stations did not start becoming common in churches until Pope Innocent XI permitted the Franciscans in 1686 to erect such displays in all their churches. He also declared that all indulgences given for visiting the sacred sites in the Holy Land would apply to any Franciscan or Franciscan lay affiliate visiting a set of stations in a church.

Pope Benedict XIII extended that privilege to all the faithful in 1726. Five years later, Pope Clement XII allowed all churches to have stations and fixed the number at 14, where it has been ever since. In recent years, many churches have included the Resurrection as a 15th station. Benedict XIV specifically urged every church in 1742 to enrich its sanctuary with stations.

Two Franciscans of the era did much to spread the popes' wishes. St. Leonard of Port-Maurice erected stations at more than 500 churches in Italy, and St. Alphonsus Ligouri in 1787 wrote the version of the Stations that most Americans recognize because it was used in most churches in the United States throughout the 19th and 20th centuries.

It has become standard for Catholic churches in this country to recite the prayers related to the Stations on the Fridays of Lent. Many churches have two services, one in the afternoon, mainly for schoolchildren, and one in the evening. Some Protestant churches, especially those belonging to the Episcopal or Lutheran denominations, have made the devotion part of their Lenten activities, particularly on Good Friday.

The traditional 14 stations are as follows: Jesus is condemned to death; Jesus takes up his cross; Jesus falls the first time; Jesus meets his mother; Simon of Cyrene carries the cross; Veronica wipes the face of Jesus; Jesus falls the second time; Jesus meets the daughters of Jerusalem; Jesus falls the third time; Jesus is stripped of his garments; Jesus is nailed to the cross; Jesus is crucified; Jesus is taken down from the cross; Jesus' body is laid in the tomb.

The third, fourth, sixth, seventh, and ninth stations are not specifically described in the Gospels, nor is St. Alphonsus' depiction in the 13th station of Jesus' body being laid in the arms of his mother.

In order to provide a version more specifically aligned with biblical accounts, Pope John Paul II introduced the Scriptural Way of the Cross on Good Friday in 1991 and celebrated that form every year thereafter at the Colosseum in Rome. Pope Benedict approved it for meditation and public celebration in 2007.

This version has the following stations: Jesus in the garden of Gethsemane; Jesus is betrayed by Judas and arrested; Jesus is condemned by the Sanhedrin; Jesus is denied by Peter; Jesus is judged by Pilate; Jesus is scourged and crowned with thorns; Jesus takes up his cross; Simon helps Jesus carry his cross;

Jesus meets the daughters of Jerusalem; Jesus is crucified; Jesus promises a place in his kingdom to the good thief; Jesus entrusts Mary and John to each other; Jesus dies on the cross; Jesus is laid in the tomb.

Franciscans have a long tradition of celebrating the Stations in the Colosseum on Fridays. John Paul made the observance an annual part of his Holy Week calendar on Good Friday. He carried a cross himself from station to station until age and infirmity limited his strength. Days before his death in 2005, he observed the Stations from his private chapel in the Vatican.

Pope Benedict XVI has continued the tradition. Each year, a different person is invited to write the meditation text for the pope's Stations. Past composers of the papal Stations include several non-Catholics. John Paul wrote the text himself in 2000 and used the traditional stations.

Thirteen specially constructed biblical stations were erected around the city of Sydney, Australia, this past July 27 for an observance of the Stations at World Youth Day. They started with the Last Supper at St. Mary's Cathedral and the agony in the garden at Domain Park and ended in Darling Harbor, where the sunset provided a dramatic backdrop for three crosses erected at the site.

More than 2 million people took part, with 500 million more watching worldwide on television. This may have been the largest gathering ever for the devotion.

Vision to littlest of servants March 15, 2009

While in Church on Saturday morning after Mass while praying in front of the BLESSED SACRAMENT I received the following vision.

I saw sheep grazing on a green pasture. I then saw some of the sheep leave and next I saw that those sheep that had left were now grazing on barren ground with little to eat.

I then saw the Shepard who, knowing that some of the sheep had left, started to call out to them to come home were there was plenty to eat and the pastures were green. But the runaway sheep even though they heard the Shepherd calling them refused to go back.

The Shepherd continued to call and call them and they continued to refuse the call of the Shepherd even though there was barely enough to eat on the barren ground they were on.

JESUS then spoke to me and told me the sheep that were grazing together on the green very beautiful pasture were members of HIS EARLY CHURCH, when all belonged to ONE CHURCH, ONE BODY, THE CATHOLIC CHURCH OF ROME.

HE then told me that the sheep that had left were the ones who left the ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH to form their own chuches. The Shepherd that was calling to them to come back was the POPE who JESUS told me was the ONE TRUE SHEPHERD FOR ALL CHRISTIANS.

The barren ground that the sheep that had left were grazing on represented the lack of graces for those who had left the CATHOLIC CHURCH.

I then saw a large group of sheep and they were gathered together right near the green pasture yet still on the pasture with barren ground.

JESUS spoke again and told me that these sheep represented the ORTHODOX CHURCHES WHO ARE NEAR UNITY WITH THE CATHOLIC CHURCH.

I then saw some sheep and they were still far away ignoring the call of the Shepherd and still on ground that was almost totally barren.

JESUS spoke again and told me that these sheep represented the PROTESTANTS who HE WOULD HAVE TO PERSONALLY GO AND GET TO BRING THEM BACK TO THE FOLD, THE CATHOLIC CHURCH.

HE THEN TOLD ME THAT HIS BODY, HIS CHURCH WOULD BECOME ONE AGAIN AS THE FATHER AND HE ARE ONE.

The History of GOD with mankind

had a beginning

JNSR: If the man that GOD first created was taken from mud, and his companion from the man's rib, GOD is their Creator and mankind forever remains "His most beautiful masterpiece" . GOD gave His Own Likeness to the first couple.

He created man in His Image.

But in listening to the serpent, they disobeyed GOD, and were banished from that place called "the Garden of Eden". If the tempter was successful in sullying the "divine" that GOD had imprinted in this couple, it was first and foremost to offend GOD and to demolish His Divine Plan.

For GOD had a great project for the future of man and his descendants. Through Adam and Eve, through their sin called "the original Sin", the human race inherited this stain and its condemnation. Thus, humanity lost Paradise through the loss of the friendship of GOD. From then on, humanity became like a nation of beings who were moved solely by their animal instincts, destined for the death of body and soul.

Later, a long time later, GOD revealed Himself to the People of Israel, such was His choice for that country. He confided to Patriarchs who, from one to the next, during their life, were passing on the "secret of GOD", which they named "the sacred deposit".

GOD who loved mankind wanted to forgive the "horrible original sin", that weighed heavily on their destiny, without leaving them the possibility of coming back to GOD and become, as the Eternal One had promised at the very beginning, the children of GOD with a divine future!

TO LIVE with the Eternal Father, the Father of all mankind, who would share His godly Life with them.

This secret named "the sacred deposit", as it was kept only for the patriarchs, consisted of the "foolish project" that GOD realized several millenniums after having entrusted it to His Patriarchs, GOD, Unique and True, gave His NAME to them:

I AM called YHWH

Yeshoua was the DIVINE Name.

What He was planning to do could only be done if it did not affect any of His ten Attributes, which would then concern (or contradict) another one, and that would be disastrous for the harmony and balance of the Entire Universe. GOD is immutable.

Thus if He had condemned man to become "a wanderer", He could not give him back the name of child of GOD and allow him again to come into His Paradise without affecting His immutable character: whence the inevitable catastrophe for the whole Universe.

Such a repair could only be made by GOD, for the sentence was divine, and He alone is the ONE and UNIQUE GOD of the Universe, seen as well as unseen. There is no other with His "perfect morality". He could not go back on His Word. GOD cannot violate His own judgment.

Woe to you who have lost your endurance! What will you do when the Lord punishes you? Those who fear the Lord will not disobey his words, and those who love him will keep his ways.

For some time now, Our Lord has been telling us that the plagues of Revelation will be upon us soon. Amongst other things, they will include pestilences unlike the world has ever experienced. He told us that evil men are spraying the general population with harmful chemicals and germs by way of high altitude airplanes; that medications have been laded with toxic chemicals, germs and larvae; that our food supply is tainted with chemicals, toxins, fertilizers and insecticides and more. He told us also, that evil men will begin injecting harmful diseases into people by way of tainted vaccinations and inoculations.

In this writing, we will examine a few of the messages from Jesus warning us of harmful flu vaccines tainted with disease to induce a bird flu pandemic and thereby reduce the general population of people.

Jesus said: "My people, the ruthlessness of the one world people is about to show their real colors how they are led by Satan to kill man. They are not satisfied enough to kill millions of babies in the womb and thousands of people in made-up wars.

When they take over your country, they will kill millions of people in death camps of religious and patriotic people who will not go along with their new world order. Your food and water will also be provided. Many will be martyred for the faith and they will become instant saints. Give praise and thanks to Me for protecting My faithful people. Refuse to take any chips in your body and refuse to worship the beast. Only I am worthy of your worship. Pray for My help and protection in this coming tribulation."

April 25, 2008:

Jesus said: "My people, I have shown you before about the evil one' s plan to eliminate a good share of the people on the earth by using a very virulent virus that would be spread by using chemtrails. Many unknowingly are taking flu vaccine shots that will make them more susceptible to die from this killer virus. The evil ones have a special vaccine that will make them immune to this new virus.

Those remaining alive will be the evil ones who are immune, those who have built up their immune systems with Hawthorn, herbs, and vitamins, and those protected at My refuges by looking on My luminous cross and by drinking from My healing spring. After the Warning it would be better that you do not take any flu vaccine shots because it could cause your death later.

Even now it would be better not to take any flu shots unless there are some who are really vulnerable and need them. January 23, 2009: Jesus said: "My people, I have given you messages on chemtrails before, but they will have a bigger role in the one world people's plan for takeover and control of the population. February 25, 2003: Jesus said: "My people, this crop duster is one means that terrorists could use to create a major incident of chemical or biological warfare against American cities. The larger jets have been spreading bacteria and viruses already through long lasting contrails.

These are weapons that were used in previous wars and many American servicemen have been affected both in Viet Nam and the Gulf War. Look for use of these weapons in future wars as well.

These viruses can be used to neutralize people in disagreement with government policies just as much as on enemy troops. I mentioned before about HAARP affects on people's minds and in combination with contrails to cause diseases targeted for any race or ethnic group.

February 18, 2008: Jesus said: "My people, many people are asked to get flu shots every year so they will be protected from the latest flu germs that mutate every year. It is difficult to predict which of the latest strains that will be prevalent in order to make vaccines for it. I have told you in the past that the one world people will be manufacturing a pandemic disease in order to give them an emergency to declare martial law.

One of their techniques to spread this disease will be to place viruses in these annual flu shots to make people more susceptible in acquiring a new disease. Many people will get sick in these areas and there will be a fair number of deaths. You will see quarantine areas posted and this could become another event that could precipitate martial law. Jesus said: "My people, you have seen many articles in your news about the preparations for a bird flu pandemic if it were to mutate by spreading between humans. Your drug companies have made millions of dollars on tamiflu vaccine that has been stockpiled, but still has not been proven effective in stopping the bird flu itself.

While it is proper to prepare for the event if bird flu should spread, it is a little premature to buy drugs that are not fully effective in fighting such a diseases. Jesus said: "My people, there has been an unusual outbreak of bird flu among the chickens that the people are growing. Some are claiming migratory birds are spreading this flu, but there are some man-made causes that have not been revealed.

Those people, who have come in contact with the diseased birds, are the ones who have contracted bird flu and a fair percentage have died. Some have tried to contain this spread by killing the chickens. Getting vaccines and antibiotics to these remote countries has not been very successful. Pray that this disease is contained and that it does not spread between humans."

Jesus said: "My people, this tsunami wave coming ashore in the vision will also be associated with many deaths. The Pentagon's Alarming Project: Avian Flu Biowar Vaccine

The genome of the 1918 pandemic, the so-called "Spanish Flu", was recently intentionally resurrected by the United States government from a frozen corpse that died of the flu in 1918 in Alaska. Because of that resurrection, both the Avian Flu, and its "vaccine" are now a significant threat to public health.

Is that what the researchers at Sanofi Pasteur and various labs under contract to the US Government are engaged in? If so it would be classified Top Secret, clearly. The respected British magazine, New Scientist, commented, "If H5N1 does mutate, it is unclear if vaccines developed now would still work against a pandemic strain. Manufacturers could tailor a new vaccine to that strain, but current production methods take months."

The magazine noted that research on the Sanofi vaccine was conducted by the National Institutes of Health as part of the US Government's efforts to prepare for a flu pandemic. The salient question is whether they prepare "for a flu pandemic" or whether they prepare a flu pandemic. Why is the US Government spending hundreds of millions of taxpayer dollars to stockpile this H5N1 vaccine which likely would not work against such a pandemic outbreak? ---

In 2003 US Army scientists created 'Spanish Flu' virus in the laboratory. According to a report at the time by the watchdog group, The Sunshine Project, which monitors biological and chemical weapons research of the United States Government issued a statement that "The 'Spanish Flu' influenza virus that killed 20-40 million people in 1918 is currently under reconstruction.

Several genes of the extraordinarily lethal 1918 flu virus have been isolated and introduced into contemporary flu strains.

These proved to be lethal for mice, while virus constructs with genes from a current flu virus types had hardly any effect. These experiments may easily be abused for military purposes, but provide little benefit from a medical or public health point of view."

They continued, "The 1918 Spanish Flu was highly infectious and - in comparison to contemporary flu viruses - killed a very high percentage of those infected, including many younger people. The Spanish Flu alone caused the median life expectancy in the US in 1918 to drop by 10 years.

Hence, flu viruses are perceived today as a serious biological warfare threat. Just two weeks ago, a 15 million dollar research grant was awarded in the US to develop protective measures especially against a bioterrorist attack with flu viruses."

The statement added, "Despite the very dangerous nature of the 1918 virus, efforts to reconstruct it started in the mid 1990s, when Dr Jeffrey Taubenberger from the US Armed Forces Institute of Pathology in Washington DC succeeded in recovering and sequencing fragments of the viral RNA from preserved tissues of 1918 victims.

In the current issue of the scientific journal Emerging Infectious Diseases new genetic details of the 1918 flu virus will be published."

Most ominously, they report, "But after (partially) unravelling the genetic sequence of the virus, the scientists went a step further and began bringing the Spanish flu back to life.

Unnoticed by the public, they succeeded in creating a live virus containing two 1918 genes that proved to be very lethal in animal experiments. This experiment is only one genetic step away from taking the 1918 demon entirely out of the bottle."

They conclude, "A resuscitation of the Spanish flu is neither necessary nor warranted from a public health point of view. Allegedly, the recent experiments sought to test the efficacy of existing antiviral drugs on the 1918 construct. But there is little need for antiviral drugs against the 1918 strain if the 1918 strain had not been recreated in the first place. Pediatricians Demand Annual Flu Shots for Infants as Vaccine-Pushing Doctors Descend into Extremist Quackery

With a child in the U.S. now receiving upwards of 130 different vaccines (many are combined into a single shot, so it's not 130 shots), it only makes logical sense to wonder whether there's such a thing as a cumulative toxic vaccine burden that might harm the health of a child. Our intention is to build a relatively small base of messages, to facilitate the painting of the "big" picture as eschatology is realized daily.
