On the right, HRH the Grand Duchess of Luxembourg, Josephine Charlotte, hurries with her younger brother, HRH the Prince of Liège. The Grand Duchess accompanied her husband to the wedding, while beautiful Princess Paola accompanied Prince Albert.

Royal experts saw the Prince’s presence as a sign of the acceptance by Queen Juliana of the fact that his father, the Count of Barcelona and not the Queen’s son-in-law Prince Charles Hughes of Bourbon-Parma, was the rightful pretender to the Spanish throne.
