Ingredients:
1-8oz can of crushed pineapple
1 beaten egg
1 tsp. flour
1/2 cup sugar
2 Tbsp. apple cider vinegar
4 cups diced red apples
1 green granny smith apple, diced
1 cup chopped nuts
1-8oz cool whip
carmel ice cream topping
Preparation:
Mix pineapple juice (from the can), egg, flour, vinegar
and sugar in a small saucepan over low heat until thick.
Will look like custard.
Remove from heat and cool.
Dice apples but do not peel.
Add pineapple and cool whip and stir in custard mixture.
Add nuts and swirl Carmel on top.
