Ingredients:
1 package yellow cake mix
2 eggs
1/3 cup water
1 cup softened butter
1 cup peanut butter
2 cups chocolate chips
1 tsp. shortening
Preparation:
Preheat oven to 350.
Combine all ingredients except chocolate chips and shortening in large mixing bowl. Beat at medium speed, scraping bowl often until well mixed.
Stir in 1 1/2 cups chocolate chips by hand.
Spread into greased 15x10x1 inch jelly roll pan.
Bake for 25-30 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool completely.
Place remaining chocolate chips and shortening in microwave-safe bowl. Microwave on medium, stirring once until chips are melted. Drizzle over cooled bars.
Makes about 48 bars.
