German Chocolate Brownies

Ingredients:

1 package German Chocolate cake mix
6 oz. chocolate chips
1 cup pecans, chopped
5 oz. caramels
6 Tbsp. margarine
1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk

Preparation:

Mix cake mix per directions.  Pour 1/2 batter into 9x13 baking pan, and bake for 18 minutes at 350 degrees.
In saucepan, melt caramels, margarine and milk. When melted, add pecans.
Add chocolate chips on top of baked cake then pour the caramel mixture over the baked cake.
Cover with the rest of cake mix and bake for 20 minutes.
Cut into squares and serve.
