Ingredients:
1 cup cottage cheese
1 cup quick oats
1 cup Italian seasoned bread crumbs
1 medium onion, minced
2 large eggs
1 tsp. ground sage
1 tsp. salt
pinch of sugar
1 can condensed mushroom soup, slightly thinned
fresh sliced mushrooms, optional
Preparation:
In a medium bowl, combine all ingredients except soup and sliced
mushrooms, mix well.
Form into walnut size balls and fry until lightly browned or bake
for 20-25 minutes at 375 on a lightly greased cookie sheet.
Transfer the balls to a 9x13 baking dish. Cover cheese balls with
mushroom soup and top with fresh mushroom slices.
Bake at 350 for 30-35 minutes.
