Broccoli Cheese Potato Soup

Ingredients:

4 cups chicken broth
2/3 cup chopped onions
10 oz. frozen chopped broccoli
2 2/3 cups instant potato flakes
4 cups diced chicken, cooked
4 cups shredded cheddar cheese
4 cups milk
1 tsp. salt

Preparation:

Heat broth, onion and frozen broccoli to boiling.  Reduce heat; cover and simmer 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Stir in potatoes until well blended; stir in remaining ingredients.
Heat over low heat about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until hot and cheese is melted.
Makes 12 servings.
