Note: You may need to visit an Asian grocery if your store doesn't carry nuoc mam.
Ingredients:
1 pound loose fresh spinach
1/2 tsp. sugar
1 tsp. fish sauce (nuoc mam, or nam pla)
1 tsp. lime juice
1/4 tsp. toasted sesame oil
Preparation:
Wash spinach, trim tough stems, and steam in the water that remains
on the leaves. When spinach has wilted, drain well.
Stir in fish sauce, lime juice, sugar and sesame oil.
