Why "one" might like Legolas!

To be honest, of course I like Legolas and his character! I'm just not obsessed is all... (so why have I got a whole website devoted to him??? Well... I had a free afternoon and nothing more pressing than GCSE English coursework, so...) This is just a list of good things about Legolas character (in the movie and in the books, even when it's a bit different!)

1. He can keep his head in a crisis!! In all those battle scenes, he's ready with his bow and not just panicking and screaming... not that we exactly expected him to.

2. And of course he can fight and shoot. Which is more a skill than a character trait, so we'll leave that now.

3. He hasn't got a ridiculously hot temper like a certain dwarf I could mention... (tho this comes across better in the book...)

4. He stands up for right and good (eg. In the movie: at Elrond's council to defend Aragorn.)

5. He's proud of his people, but still eventually becomes great friends with Gimli (again, this doesn't really seem to happen in the movie so far...), which is just very nice and heartwarming :D

More things? e-mail me! jesta_ariadne@mail.com Remember: no good looks allowed to be mentioned!! That includes stuff like "Oh my gawd, just like those eyes whenever he looks at me, I like melt!" etc!!

And, OK, one good thing I've found out about Orlando Bloom (of course it's only one thing! It's not like I've been researching or anything!) It's just a cool quote I stumbled upon:"Legolas' moves are smooth and elegant, like a cat...it's very balletic. It's also bloody hard to do without falling over!" - E!Online Force of the Hobbit
