And don't we all want that fantastic hairstyle!!!?? Well, here's what you've been waiting for: comprehensive instructions!
There are two methods to achieve this wonderful look:
Method 1. The authentic method, just like the one they used in the movie!!!!!!
a. First of all, shave you head. You it doesn't have to be completely bald, just enough so that no hair is left on the sides. Here's a picture of how it should look:
(and yes, that is Orlando Bloom himself!! I mean, um, isn't he soooo cuuuuute!!!)
b. Go out and buy a long blond(e) wig.
c. Put on the wig. You may have to do some weird stuff with toupee tape or glue of something to make it stay put...
Method 2. For those of us who can't part with our beautiful, wonderful hair!! (Note, if your hair is less than 1.5 ft long, you may as well shave the lot off, cos this method needs long hair, OK?)
a. If your hair is curly, you'll need to straighten it before you begin. I suggest getting this done professionally and permanantly, you'll get far better results and it only costs a couple hundred pounds/dollars. If you really don't want to do that, then at least make sure you buy some really high quality gel or straightening spray.
b. Now, regardless of straight or curly- your hair must be blonde to get the full effect. Peroxide really is best, but again, get this done professionally.
c. Make sure to treat you hair to some real pampering to make it soft and shiny. <insert shameless promotion of favoured shampoo here>.
d. Now, the important bit: the style!!!!!!!!! Brush your hair.
e. Do a few miniture braids at each side. Legolas in fact has <?> on the left side and <?> on the right as you're facing him.
f. Now brush it backwards into a <insert cool teen-beauty-magazine-name for half ponytail here>. Secure.
g. And don't forget to use <insert... you get the idea?> special wonderful hairspray!!! It keeps you hair in place with greasiness or stiffness! WOW!!
Ta da! Your very own Legolas-style hair!!!!
