You're A Grand Old Flag

by George M. Cohan

You're a grand old flag,

You're a high flying flag

And forever in peace may you wave.

You're the emblem of

The land I love.

The home of the free and the brave.

Ev'ry heart beats true

'neath the Red, White and Blue,

Where there's never a boast or brag.

Should auld acquaintance be forgot,

Keep your eye on the grand old flag.

You're a grand old flag,

You're a high flying flag

And forever in peace may you wave.

You're the emblem of

The land I love.

The home of the free and the brave.

Ev'ry heart beats true

'neath the Red, White and Blue,

Where there's never a boast or brag.

Should auld acquaintance be forgot,

Keep your eye on the grand old flag.

Fly the flag everywhere, on your car, your house , your kids, your dog, your husband, your wife, that nosy neighbor down the street.

Give it a wave, and remember what our flag stands for.

Keep the torch burning for liberty

In memory of all the people who died, and all the heroes who gave their lives to save others.

God bless America. God bless our flag!

The stars and stripes forever!

You can lower our flag, but you can never take our heart!
