Quan Chi

Quan Chi is the sorceror who freed Shinnok from the Netherrealm. In appreciation for his loyalty and help, Shinnok made Quan Chi his arch-sorceror. Quan Chi is strongest in the Black Arts and taught Vorpax almost all of what he knows. Without his consent, Vorpax stole Chi's blood, giving Cyan an unnatural link to the Underworld of which Chi is now the master.

Quan Chi and Vorpax have long since reached a truce and he remains uninvolved with any accounts of Cyan or her warriors. Chi's attentions and efforts are solely focused on the destruction of the Elder gods.
