Through The Maze
The area surrounding the Courtyard entrance has been cleared away of undergrowth. Nothing here but well manicured lawn. To the left, you can hear the faint sounds of running water, from somewhere in the trees.
It looks as if once you're on one part of the twisting, winding path, you won't be able to see, or cross over, onto the parts of the path on either side of you.
The magnificence of the woodlands just up ahead takes your breath away. Around you, you hear birdsong and the rustle of wind between the branches; the wind itself caresses your hair, your body.
In the distance, you can see the Tower. The fact that it still looks roughly the same height as it was at the entrance indicates just how big the Tower is. There seems to be no direct way through to the Tower in a straight line, so you will have to follow the path for now, see where it will lead.
