Karen- When I left here with the Phoenix Sword I went to LA to give it to the reincarnation of the Phoenix Warrior Karen - And I've been training her

Shot of Mary charging toward Raven wielding the Phoenix Sword. She brings her sword down to strike Raven but Raven just blocks the blow with the Sword of Imotep.

Karen - If she gets her hands on the urn and ignites the flame she can use the Sword of Imotep to make a new dark Phoenix Sword.
Eve - (understanding) Raven could cancel out the curse on the sword and with the sword Raven could be indestructible.

Shot of Raven dancing around a fire. A large flame shoot up from the urn and then dies down to a small fire burning with in the urn. Raven smiles and picks it up she places it in front of the small pyre he has burning.

Shot of Raven letting go of the Sword of Imotep and it soars through the air toward the pyre. That's when Eve breaks down through the roof jumping into the room grabbing the sword and flipping forward coming face to face with Raven

Karen - I failed here. I must follow Raven. The Dark Sword alone can help Raven achieve her purposes. Many people will die for her to achieve immortality and many more will die after she gets it.

Karen - You must come with me to L.A. We have to get there before Raven does. If we don't she could destroy the only thing that might be able to stop her.
Eve - What's that?
Karen - The Phoenix Warrior

Open on the large expanse of sky. Pan through the clouds toward a plane flying through the air. We close in on one of the plane windows. We see Eve's face through one of the them. Cut to inside the plane where Eve is sitting. She stops looking out the window and puts her head back on her seat and grips the arms of it until her knuckles turn white. We pan over to Karen sitting next to Eve. She notices Eve's apprehension

Karen - You've never been on a plane before have you?

Eve - I guess I am a little nervous. How high up are we?

Karen - I suggest not worrying about that. It's perfectly safe. Just relax.

Eve takes a deep breath and puts her head back on the seat. She pulls the shudder down. She leans over to Karen and lowers voice to a whisper

Eve - If the Phoenix Warrior is powerful enough to stop Raven, why do you need me?

Karen - The Phoenix Warrior stopped Raven once in her past life as Maria. Mary has that power inside her but she doesn't know how to channel it. She has much to learn.

Eve - Do you want me to train her?

Karen - You're the only one in this time who has tangled with Raven and have lived to tell the tale. You know how Raven works, that knowledge will be helpful. But more than that I think Mary can benefit from your wisdom.

Eve - (smiles) I’ll do what I can to help.

Karen - I'm sorry I had to drag you away from your mission

Eve - Alex and Jeff promised they'd look after things back home. My mission is to preserve the balance. Every evil I can stop is another day Lucifer stays in the underworld.

Karen - I just hope we are not too late.

Cut to a dark room. We pan over to where some light from a window is pouring in. We pan over to body laying on the floor in a pool of blood. It's Mary!

Cut to an L.A. street at night. A taxi pulls up to the curve. Eve and Karen get out and pull out their luggage, Karen then pays the taxi driver before he speeds off

Eve - What's his problem?

Karen - This is LA. People don't stay in one place too long, especially long at night. The longer you're out, the more likely you get attacked and in this city its usually demonic.

Karen gets cut off by a scream coming from a near by building. Eve and Karen look toward where the scream is coming from. Karen recognizes the building where Mary's apartment is.

Karen - Mary!

Karen runs in to the building. Eve close behind her.

Cut to inside the building. In the hall a vampire is feeding on an old lady.

Eve kicks a hole in the wall the leaves splinters all over the floor. She picks up a few splinters and throws them at the vampire. All hit him but two get him through the chest turning him to dust. The old woman falls to the floor in shock. Eve runs over to help her. Karen runs up the stairs to find Mary. Eve helps the old woman inside her apartment. A minute later two more vampires are thrown down the stairs. Eve comes out of the old lady's apartment to see what's going on. She sees two vampires ready to bolt out the front door. Eve grabs one before it gets away

Eve - Who let you in?

Vampire - T. .t. . .t . . t . the old woman

Eve - Who sent you?

Vampire - A blond woman. I swear I don't know who she is but she said there was a lot to eat here. A bunch of demons were here earlier too!!

Eve - Where are they now? Who are they after?

Vampire - I don't know. The demons left but I don't know who they were after I . . .

Karen - (voice from upstairs) Eve! Get up here quickly!

The vampire squirms out of Eve's grasp and runs out the door. Eve picks up a few of the remaining splinters and throws them into his heart. He turns to dust. Eve then runs upstairs.

Cut to upstairs in an apartment. Eve runs in and finds Karen in the bedroom crying over Mary

Eve sees Mary lying on the floor in a pool of blood. Eve bends down to check Mary's pulse.

Eve - She's still alive! She's badly cut but most of the wounds aren't deep. Get towels, damp cloths and lots of hot water!

Karen runs out to get the things Eve asked for. Mary begins stirring

Mary - (faint voice) Wha . . . What's going on?

Eve - Shh. Don't speak. Save your strength.

Karen comes back in with all the things Eve asked for and a first aid kit under her arm. Eve begins cleaning the wounds. Karen takes Mary's hand

Mary - Karen?

Karen - (sad smile)Yeah. It's me. Don't worry Mary I'm here.

Mary - D. . . demons and . . . vampires. A lot of them. I couldn't stop them . . . too many . . . I'm sorry . . .

Karen - It's okay. You'll be alright

Mary - Two men came in . . . chased them away . . . left after them

Eve - (cleaning Mary's face of blood) Thank Eli for good Samaritans.

Mary - (looks strangely at Eve) Who . . . Who are you?

Eve - My name's Eve

Mary - The Messenger of Eli?

Eve - (smiles)Yeah

Karen - Listen to me. Raven has the dark Phoenix Sword but it's not combined with the Sword of Imotep. We still have a chance. (looks around) Mary, where's the Phoenix Sword?

Mary slowly crawls out of Eve's grasp and crawls towards a loose floor board. She pries the floor board up and pulls out the Phoenix Sword.

Mary - (hands it to Karen) I like to keep it somewhere safe

Karen smiles and takes it from Mary and sets it on the bed

Fade to later inside Mary's apartment. Eve is sitting on a chair looking through an album of Mary's. Eve sees pictures of Mary with a redheaded woman and her blond brother and pictures of Mary with an Asian man and brown haired man with bright blue eyes and a brunette woman. Eve looks at the pictures curiously and smiles. Mary comes out of the bathroom. She still slightly bruised and the cuts are bandaged up but she's clean of the blood. Her hair is slightly damp. Eve looks up

Eve - Feel better?

Mary - A little. Thank you for coming( sees Eve with her photo album) I see you found my album

Eve - (puts it down on the coffee table) I'm sorry I didn't mean to pry. I just saw it there

Mary - Don't be sorry. I like to take pictures. It's a hobby of mine. But I don't really have a lot of time for that anymore. I've given up half my life to rid this city of demons

Eve - Do you regret the path you were chosen for?

Mary - (shrugs) No, its not like that. I always felt I was meant for something more. When Karen came to me with the sword, I knew this was my destiny. But sometimes . . . it feels too big.

Eve - I know what you mean. Try not to think about destiny, or greatness, try to think about the people you help. It really comes down to it being the right thing to do.

Mary - You remind me a lot of my friends (Mary points to the pictures) These people are my kindred spirits. We are bound by forces older than time, stronger than blood. We're supposed to represent the best of humanity. We're supposed to lead them in those ways.

Eve - Karen told me about your past life. I think I'm even before Maria's time.

Mary - (half smiles) Perhaps. (Points to the brown haired man) That is my friend Shane. In a past life he was known as Sinbad the sailor. I think he would have liked you.

Eve - Why do you say that?

Mary - You're a living, breathing woman aren't you? Yeah, Shane would like you.

Karen runs out of the other room.

Karen - Mary! Eve! You've got to come see this!

Eve and Mary get up and run into Mary's bedroom. The Phoenix Sword is floating up right in the air. It's pulsing light like a beacon.

Mary - It's acting like a . . . a

Karen - Homing beacon!

Eve - Raven's in L.A. and she's using the Dark Phoenix Sword.

COMMERCIAL

Cut to a mansion. Inside a warm study a fire is blazing in the fire place. We hear classical music fill the room. We pan to the left and find a wine case with a brandy bottle smashed on the top. We pan over to behind the case and find a man lying half dead on the floor. We see a pile of papers continuing to be thrown on top of him piling up around him. We pan up to see a portrait of a beautiful Phoenix Bird. The portrait has been swung open to reveal a safe with documents in it. We pan around to see Raven at the safe. She pulling out papers and shuffling through them not finding what she's looking for.

Raven - He has nothing!! He is supposed to have the most artifacts relating to the Phoenix but he has not what I NEED!!!

In Raven’s hand the dark Phoenix sword begins pulsing streams of darkness. She holds her sword up and stares at it in horror!!

Raven - Not here! not NOW!!!!

Raven bolts for the balcony window. Outside she jumps over the edge.

Cut to the garden below. Raven lands on the ground and shoots one glance up at the balcony two stories up and heads in the other direction before being stopped short by a tip of a sword pointing at her throat.

Raven - Mary! How lovely to see you again!

Mary - Cut the small talk Raven.

Raven - Why are we fighting? We should work together. After all, we're both after the same thing. The Phoenix Bird.

Mary - If the Phoenix Bird wanted to be found by you, she would have tried to contact you a long time ago.

Raven glared at Mary with anger before bringing the dark Phoenix Sword down on Mary's head. Mary met the strike with equal strength with the help of the original Phoenix Sword.

Raven - (eyeing one of Mary's cuts)I see the creatures of the night did some damage

Mary - Not nearly enough! When are you going to learn to do your own dirty work? I can't be bumped off so easily

Raven - That's just dumb luck!

Raven swings around and brings her sword to clash with Mary's again but Mary just ducks and kicks the feet out from under Raven. Mary moves to strike Raven down when Raven rolls over. Mary strikes the ground

Cut to the study. Eve bursts in the door with protests from the maid. The maid stops short when she sees her boss lying on the ground. She gasps at the blood surrounding him.

Eve bends down and takes his pulse.

Eve - He's still alive. Call an ambulance. Now!

The maid nods her head and rushes out of the room. Eve looks around the room. She notices it has been practically torn to shreds. She spots the portrait of the Phoenix. She walks over to it and looks at the fire like colours.

Eve - Wow!

She suddenly hears shouts from outside

Eve - Oh no!

Cut to the garden below the balcony. Mary punches Raven in the face then spins around kicking her in the back knocking her head into the base of a tree. Mary moves to strike again when Raven huffs her foot back right into Mary's gut. Mary hunches over winded as Raven delivers a mean uppercut to Mary's jaw sending her flying off her feet.

As Raven advances on Mary, Karen runs forward and tackles Raven. Raven kicks her attacker off. She gets up and stares Karen down. Raven holds the Dark Phoenix Sword up and it glows with fire. Raven jams the sword into the ground sending a trail of fire speeding toward Karen. Karen flips out of the path of the fire exploding leaving Mary unprotected. Raven runs over and grabs Mary by the hair.

Raven - You want to kill me! You must go through her

Cut to Eve upstairs in the study. She runs out to the balcony and sees the fight below her.

Cut to the garden. Raven is holding Mary savagely by the hair now with the Dark Phoenix Sword at Mary's neck

Mary - Just do it!

Raven - (stares intently at Karen as she hesitates)She doesn't have the guts! Well I do!

Just then Eve jumps down on Raven pulling her away from Mary. Mary struggles to get up and regains the Phoenix Sword.

Eve - I guess I got the drop on you again!

Mary and Karen look at her strangely

Eve - I know I know. I'm not much good with the punning.

In Eve's moment of self reflection Raven tackles Eve down in blind rage and fury and begins to punch her. Eve grabs Raven fist with her hand and flips her off. Eve propels her self up with her legs and turns swiftly around to face Raven.

Raven glares at Eve as Karen and Mary run up to join her. Raven still holding on to the Dark Phoenix Sword, uses it to get up. In the process she quickly jabs it into the ground and she vanishes in a flame of black fire. Mary's eyes pop open at this and she gets ready to bolt after her. Eve holds her back.

Mary - What are you doing? We have to go after her!

Eve - We're unprepared. She almost took your head off. We need to think of a better plan.

Eve Karen and Mary hear sirens coming around to the front of the mansion

Karen - What's that?

Eve - That would be the ambulance. The man up there is still alive. I think we should talk to him. He might know something

Karen - He should know a lot of things. This is Albert Aucoin's residence. He's a world renown archeologist. He's found countless artifacts that rebuilt the legend of the Phoenix Warrior. He was the first person I went to when I came to look for you Mary. He is fascinated by the life of Benu the first Phoenix Warrior and Maria. He could give us access to some relics that could help us tap into your past lives, to tap into that power that only you have.

Mary –I don’t feel it

Eve – That’s because you don't believe in yourself

Mary – You don’t know what it’s like Eve. To be told you're some kind of savior, the best in humanity and yet find yourself failing at every turn. How can I believe in myself when I can't do what's expected of me.

Eve – So you rush into every fight to prove you're worthy of this destiny? I understand where you’re coming from Mary but you don’t need to prove yourself. This is who you are.

Mary - (tears well up in her eyes and she looks away from Karen and Eve trying to hide her emotions) I know the Phoenix is destined to walk alone but I wish I didn't have to. I’ve been alone most of my life. When I found the others that were like me I thought . . .I thought I had a family but then you came with my destiny. It’s too big, it asks to much! I can't be the hero you want me to be, what the universe needs me to be. I can’t do this.

Karen - Yes you can! Being the Phoenix Warrior only means that there is no one else like you. You don't walk this earth alone not when so many people care about you! I care about you.

Eve – And so do I. You're already a hero, you're already the best in humanity. All you need to do, is what you know in your heart is right.

Mary nods slightly and Karen pulls her in to a hug and Eve gently rubs Mary's back.

Eve - Come on. I think we should pay Albert Aucoin a visit

Cut to a hospital. Eve, Karen and Mary are looking through a window at Albert who is in intensive care. He's hooked up to a monitor. A nurse comes out

Nurse - He's awake now if you would like to speak to him.

Eve - You go Mary. It should be you.

Mary nods and walks into the room.

Cut to inside the intensive care room. Mary walks up to Albert. His eyes are closed. She stands by his bedside for a few moments. She looks back to the window at Karen and Eve looking in. They motion for her to go on.

Mary - Um . . . Mr Aucoin?

Albert opens his eyes slowly and looks at Mary with what seems to be horror.

Albert - NURSE!!!!

Mary - What? No! I'm not here to . . .

The nurse rushes in

Nurse - Mr. Aucoin what is it?

Albert - (points to Mary) Do . . . Do you see her?

Nurse - The girl? Why yes! Do you want her to leave?

Albert - NO! . . . No. It's fine. Leave us

Mary looks back to Albert confused

Albert - It's you! I thought I was dreaming or hallucinating but you . . . you are here.

Mary - I don't understand.

Albert - (looks at Mary in wonder) I've seen you in the paintings in a temple in Egypt. You're the Phoenix Warrior!

Mary - That was a long time ago. I'm not her any more. Well I mean I was her. I still am her, just different. (sighs trying to collect her thoughts and organize her words) My name is Mary. The one you refer to is Maria

Albert - You're . . . not the woman from the paintings?

Mary - I was her. In a past life

Albert - Remarkable! I have spent many years of my life researching the legend and here you are. Just like the Phoenix Bird you have been reborn. Please sit down!

Mary - (takes a seat) A woman came to your home last night. She hurt you

Albert - (saddened look). She barged into my study. She took me by surprise.

Mary - Her name was Raven. She wanted to know about the Phoenix didn't she?

Albert - Of course! You share a telepathic link with the bird.

Mary - I don't where the Phoenix Bird is. What ever connection I had in the past, I don't have it anymore.

Albert - Why not?

Mary - (shakes her head) I don't know . . . I guess I just don’t have it in me. It’s so big, I’m so small.

Albert - Mary, may I tell you something? (Mary nods) I was fascinated with the Phoenix and the legend for the same reason as Raven. I thought if I could find the Phoenix, if she truly was real, I could somehow tap into that immortality. I wanted to live forever.

Mary - Why?

Albert - I'm afraid. Afraid of death, and what waits beyond. I'm not a good person. I need time. Time to change.

Mary - Immortality is not for good people. We choose good because we know we don't live forever. We know that every moment is precious and we try to do the best we can with the time that is given to us.

Cut to outside the room where Eve and Karen look on.

Eve - You were wrong Karen. I think I can benefit from Mary's wisdom. Not the other way around.

Cut to back inside the hospital room. Albert takes Mary's hand

Albert - Help me! Help me be better!

Mary - (scoffs) But I'm the one who needs your help. I need your help to channel the power of the Phenix Warrior.

Albert - You don't need to look very far for the power Mary. It's right there radiating off you. Just trust in it.

Mary - I don't know how.

Albert - If the legends really are true then I may be able to help you. I found a feather that had laid upon the alter of the Sun god Ra. The feather is like no other. I am certain it belongs to the Phoenix Bird. And in my safe there is a book of prayers for Ra. It may be just what you need. I want you to have it.

Mary - (astonished)I don't know what to say

Albert - Just promise you'll say a few prayers for me.

Mary - You don't need my help to be better Albert. Choose to do good and you are good.

Albert - Well, then kick Raven really good for me!

Mary - (laughs) You bet I will!

Albert - (looks at Mary for a long moment and smiles) You know if I ever had a daughter I'd want her to be just like you

Mary -(Mary smiles as one tear falls down her cheek) And I wish I had a Dad just like you.

Mary gives Albert a small hug and walks out of the room.

Cut to outside the room. Eve and Karen look at Mary with smiles on their faces

Mary - I have a plan!

COMMERCIAL

Cut to Albert Aucoin's bedroom in his mansion. Eve opens up the portrait of the Phoenix Bird and behind that finds the safe she opens that up and finds an old book bound in old leather. She sits on the bed and begins reading through the prayers. Pan down beside the bed. Mary and Karen pull out a long flat box.

Mary - Whoa!

Karen - It's said the Phoenix Bird is huge. It's body is said to block out the sun and yet is like light itself. It's feathers are red orange and yellow, it's eyes are golden and her tail is said to be like fire.

Mary opens the lid of the box and pulls out a yellow feather streaked with red and orange

Mary - Its beautiful

Karen - There is an aura coming from this feather. Maybe we can tap into it.

Eve - Don't forget to say some of these prayers. They are absolutely beautiful.

May your courage and compassion be felt
May you selflessness and kindness be known
Let the Phoenix fly with you
See the World through her eyes
Let you heart be guided by her light.

At that moment the Phoenix feather floats upward from Mary's hand. The feather floats upward. Karen and Mary stand up and Eve gets up off the bed. The feather begins to glow.

Mary - I can feel it! I can feel such warmth and light!

Karen -Eve, you're the messenger of Eli who's god is the God of love. Love is the most purist power in the universe. You have a power to heal people and cleanse them. You can bring out their goodness and light. That prayer had these effects because you said it.

Eve - Maybe it's not the Phoenix's power we have to tap into. In each of us lies a will to do good, our own light. We need to combine our light. Its the only way to combat the dark

Mary - Raven won't know what hit her.

Cut to Mary and Karen practicing with swords. Side by side Mary and Karen practice. The Phoenix Sword in Mary's hand changes from sword to sias to staff and back to sword.

Cut to Eve and Mary practicing Tai Chi. Their movement are flawless, smooth and strong. They both show concentration and at the same time tranquility.

Fade to Karen Eve and Mary holding hands standing in a circle in the middle of a park during the night. Their eyes are closed and they are concentrating hard. The Phoenix Sword is jabbed into the ground in the middle. Interchange this scene with scenes of pyramids, sand blowing, a Phoenix flying high in the sky, hieroglyphs and the imposing statue of Ra.

Mary – (voice over commentary) Ra, lord of light. I am Mary, the reincarnated soul of Benu and Maria. Know my name, know my soul. Know me part of the Phoenix, who is apart of you. Hear me now, help me defeat she who would steal light from world.

Cut to just Mary Eve and Karen with their hands locked together

Pan up to the night sky where we see a great beam of light burst forth toward the stars.

Cut to a large construction yard. There are cranes and machinery all around. Raven walks around the boulders and rocks and piles of dirt that have been piled and walks over to a large crevice that has been made by the construction company. She looks down into the crevice and smirks

Raven - Perfect for human sacrifices to do my spell to track down the Phoenix Bird.

Raven lifts the dark Phoenix Sword high above her head. She closes her eyes and channels her energy. A dark aura appears around her and flies into the sword. Raven then spins around and points the sword into the crevice. The sword spurts forth an enormous amount of black fire. Raven is blown back away when the crevice lights up with fire.

Raven nods in satisfaction as she looks at the crevice. She then notices the dark sword glowing in her hand. She hears foot steps behind her. She knows who it is. She smiles wickedly

Raven - I was wondering when you'd show up again.

Raven turns around and her smile falters when she sees Karen Mary and Eve

Cut to the trio walking toward Raven. A soft wind is blowing toward them as they walk. They walk in an exact line with the same motions and their eyes are glowing white.

Eve, Karen, Mary - (In unison) We are connected as one

Eve - The past

Karen - The present

Mary - And the future

The trio lifts their heads toward the sky and an amazing bright light bursts forth from them. Raven is blasted off her feet and comes very close to falling in the crevice of fire. Raven gets up slowly

Mary with her eyes glowing, breaks from the group. She unsheathes the Phoenix Sword and walks toward Raven. Raven smiles and lifts her own sword and walks over to meet Mary.

Raven - This will be the last time we meet. Welcome to the end, your end!

Raven screams wildly and charges toward Mary. Mary dodges the punch and then bends down as Raven goes too far. She flips Raven over her back. Raven lands on the ground with a thud. Raven get up as Mary turns around to meet her again. Raven runs toward Mary and tries to strike her down. Mary blocks it with her own sword and pushes her back. Mary then does a roundhouse kick on Raven's head. Raven is flipped sideways but lands on her feet. Raven throws the dark Phoenix Sword toward Mary. In a flask of dark fire the sword changes into several metallic stars aimed toward Mary. Mary deflects them all with the Phoenix Sword. The stars all head back toward Raven and form the dark Phoenix Sword in her hand.

Letting out a wicked scream as she charge, Raven swings her incarnation of the sword haphazardly at Mary. Mary thrusts her sword out, blocking the blow and with a kick pushes Raven back a few steps. Raven comes back again with an even louder scream and continues to swing her sword at Mary, each blow being blocked, angering Raven even more and causing her to continue her attack even more fiercely.

Raven falls back after one of the blows and starts to stagger. Raven begins to panic. Raven charges at Mary again, Mary delivered a kick that stumbles Raven forward. Mary spins her foot around and kicks Raven across the mouth, some of Raven's teeth flying out with a spew of her own blood.

Mary - Does any of this feel familiar?

Raven pounded her fist on the ground and got up again, blood trickling down from the sides of her mouth, her eyes fuming with the anger in her heartless body.

Raven - You bitch! You may be the Phoenix Warrior but I am the Dark Phoenix Warrior!!

She charges at Maria again, madly releasing a series of fireballs from her sword. Mary blocks them all with the Phoenix Sword and then delivers another roundhouse kick as Raven reached her. Raven got up again swinging her sword With each block the Mary made she was pushed toward the fire in the crevice.

The Phoenix sword in a flask of light changes into a long metal staff. She blocks the blows of Raven and then swings the staff around and swipes her across the face and swipes the feet out from under her. Finally the Phoenix Sword takes it's original state and Mary sheathes it. Raven looks at her confused as Mary stands before the crevice still burning with fire.

Mary - There is only one Phoenix Warrior

Raven screams in anger and charges toward Mary in impulsive fury. Mary grabs a hold of Raven and throws herself and Raven into the fire.

Cut back to Eve and Karen. Their eyes stop glowing as the power is divided. Both Eve and Karen run toward the crevice in fear and panic for Mary.

Cut to the Crevice. Eve and Karen look in as Mary hangs over the edge of the crevice. We see that the fire didn't fill the whole crevice but it's awfully close

Mary - A little help? It's getting hot in here

Eve and Karen smile as they help Mary out of the crevice. Mary looks toward the fire.

Mary - That was for Albert.

Mary unsheathes the Phoenix Sword and lifts it up. She channels her energy and all the fire from the crevice is sucked into the Phoenix Sword. Karen, Eve and Mary look into the crevice and find the dark Phoenix Sword lying on top of a pile of ashes

COMMERCIAL

Eve and Karen stand outside Albert Aucoin's mansion the next day. Mary comes out looking shocked

Eve - Mary?

Karen - What is it? What's wrong

Mary – Nothing! Right after we left Albert called his lawyer and got his will changed! He’s left everything to me! The house, his relics and money! He’s coming back from the hospital today. He wants me to live with him. He wants me to be provided for, so I can continue on with my mission

Eve – Which is?

Mary – Helping people, anyway I can but I also need to find The Phoenix Bird. She’s out there. She sleeping somewhere and I need to find her to be whole again.

Karen - At least you don't have to worry about Raven anymore.

Mary - Which reminds me. I want to leave the Dark Phoenix Sword in your possession. I think the same old rule applies; only one of your line can touch it since you are a decedent of Maria.

Eve - I know I won't be touching it again

Karen - (laughs) I'll keep it safe and out of the wrong hands.

Mary - Thank you all you've done for me. Karen, You've been my mentor and my friend. I wouldn’t have understood my purpose without your guidance.

Karen – It was always within you Mary. You may have the big house and the big money now but I will always be here to help you whenever you need me.

Mary – Eve ,thank you for coming all this way to help me. Thank you for believing in me and helping me find that power deep within me.

Eve - Your power wasn't down deep inside you. It was always shining bright. You just needed to learn how to trust in it. And in yourself.

Mary – I wish you’d stay. We could use your help fighting the evil here.

Eve – I can’t. I have a family back in New York and they mean the world to me. I need to go back to them and I need to continue on with my mission.

Karen – If you ever need me, just call.

Mary - Same goes for me

Karen - Good bye Eve.

Mary and Eve embrace in a big hug and then pull apart to look each other straight in the eye

Mary - Fair well Eve, Messenger of Eli!

A cab arrives as Eve turns around. The driver comes out and grabs Eve's luggage and put it in the trunk as Eve gets in the back. She waves good bye to Mary and Karen. We pan on close up on her face as she watches the scenery go by on her way to the airport

Eve - (voice over commentary) It’s hard to really know what defines a hero. Is it ancestry, our deeds, ourselves? Perhaps it doesn’t really matter as long as good is done.
