Fade in to Alex's loft. Light from the street lights pour in through the huge window. We pan around the loft to find that it completely bare, gone of all its furniture. Pan over by the door where Eve is leaning her back against. Her lip is still bruised from the fight she had. She looks around the loft with sad eyes. She stands up straight and opens the door to leave. Fade out

We all begin with good intent

Fade into Natalie's apartment where Natalie and James are sitting on the floor with their eyes closed. They are trying to concentrate but James just shakes his head and breaks the circle and leaves. Fade out

Fade in to Morgan and Jeff walking along the streets. Both are looking sullen as they walk along with Jeff's arm around Morgan's shoulders. Fade out

Fade in to Craig in the centre trying to clean up the mess that was made. He picks up a piece of a broken vile in one hand and a piece of wood in the other. He looks at the vile and suddenly throws the pieces down and puts his hand to his head covering his eyes. His shoulders begin to shake. He is crying. Fade out

Fade in to Eve's apartment. Surprisingly it has been left untouched much unlike the centre. Eve, James, Morgan, Jeff and Craig are all sitting around. No one speaks. Morgan clears her throat.

Morgan - So what do we do now?

Craig - We should go after her.

Eve - (shakes her head) She chose to go. She won't come back.

Craig - Then we drag her back here if we have to. She is going unleash the likes of Athena, Hades and Poseidon on this world.

James - (pounds his fist on the kitchenette counter) I should have seen it coming!! Why didn't I see it?!

Eve - We were all blinded. None could see how afraid Alex was.

Craig - Afraid? Of what?

Eve - Of us! She didn't trust us enough to tell us what happened to her. She thought we were going to kill her! She still thinks so.

Craig - If it's the only way . . .

Eve - I WON'T KILL HER CRAIG!! . . . .but it's clear I can't save her either.

Fade to Alex walking through a long marble hall decorated in silver and gold, pearls and gems of all kinds. At the end of the hall Aphrodite in her pink satin and lace negligee rounds the corner. Alex follows in simple khaki pants and a black t - shirt.

Alex - Thanks for taking me in

Aphrodite - We're family. You are welcome here anytime.

Alex nods as Aphrodite leads her over to a huge golden archway.

Aphrodite - Welcome to Mount Olympus.

The doors open and reveal a huge marble chamber. All the gods have gathered there

Aphrodite - Welcome home!

Cut to Eve's apartment. Craig is still ranting.

Craig - I will not sit here while you sulk. I will not sit here and do nothing. This is the Gods fault. They are working through Alex and turning her against us!

Jeff - You're not helping things Craig

Craig - We need to get her out of Olympus!

Morgan - You want to take on the remaining Gods of Olympus?

Craig - Why not? How many can there be left?

Cut to Alex's surprised face as she sees all the Gods.

Alex - What the . . ?

Aphrodite - What's wrong?

Apollo - (voice) I think she's surprised there are so many of us.

Alex turns to look to the front of the hall where she sees three gods sitting on three thrones. Apollo is in the middle and is looking smug. He gets up and walks towards Alex.

Apollo - Not all of us attacked Eve, causing Xena's vengeance. Those who did not attack lived. When I saw Aphrodite and Ares alive I realized this simple truth. That is why I did not exact revenge.

Alex - Being the god of reason, couldn't you have talked the others out of attacking Eve?

Apollo - None of us thought to question them. Especially not Athena. She was the eldest, the most powerful, the most wise. If the prophecy turned out to be real it was in our best interest to let do what she thought best.

Alex - And look where they are now.

Apollo - Exactly! I did manage to convince Athena of one thing and that is to always have a back up plan.

Alex - You know Xena was given the power to kill gods to protect Eve. She wouldn't have used it if you didn't give her a reason!

Apollo - You're right. If they had just have left Eve alone they could have escaped annihilation but Athena could not bear to live as we do now, shadows and myth. Eve was destined to turn people away from following the gods. Without followers, without their belief, we have little to no power. And so Athena decreed that any god killed during twilight, their soul, their essence will immediately be transferred to the orb waiting for the time when they can be reborn.

Alex - The planetary alignment. They sure have been waiting a long time.

Apollo - We're immortal. Time means nothing.

Alex - Apparently

Apollo - (gestures to the three thrones where two other female gods are sitting) I am the god of reason and was the logical choice to succeed Athena. However, Hestia and Demeter, the children of Cronos, also thought they should succeed Athena. So we made a tribunal. We lead the gods.

Apollo gestures to the left where a merman sits in a pool of water with a trident, a man looking depressed sits beside him, a man with a cloak full of stars is there as well.

Apollo - That's King Trident the new god of the sea, Lachrymose god of despair and Morpheus god of dreams.

Apollo gestures to nine beautiful women in flowing gowns, then over to a young girl, a woman and a crone

Apollo - Those are Muses and the Fates.

Alex - I thought they died in that fire that Gabrielle set on the loom

Everyone gasps

Aphrodite - (whispers in her ear) We don't talk about that!

Alex - Oh (calls over to the Fates) Sorry!

Apollo sighs and gestures to a god with wings on his feet and a god that's half goat half boy.

Apollo - That's Hermes he controls the weather! And that little musical genius is Pan.

Alex - If Hermes is the god of weather, who's taken over being messenger for the Gods?

Hermes - MSN.

Apollo continues to gesture around the room. He points to a bubbly young woman with long orange hair.

Apollo - That's my daughter Eos.

Eos - (bright and cheery) Morning Dad!!

Apollo - Morning sweetie!

Alex - It's the afternoon.

Apollo - She's Goddess of the Dawn. Don't spoil it for her. Moving on.

He points over to a beautiful woman holding a little boy with wings standing next to a pillar. On the other side of the pillar a floating woman holding a candle stands next to Persephone

Apollo - There's Psyche and one of her many winged little creeps, I mean sons. That's Circe and of course you know your mother (points to a man holding grapes and drinking a lot of wine) And that's Dionysus

Dionysus - (drunken slur) Let's party!!!!!

Apollo - Not now Dion!! He's always drunk.(turns back to Alex) And of course you know Aphrodite and Cupid (looks around) And where is . . .

Aphrodite - He's out! He's doing his thing.

Apollo - Again?

Alex - Who?

Apollo - Never mind. As you might have guessed we had to do a lot of shuffling around when it came to the duties of gods. The underworld went in to chaos and your father had to be sacrificed to bring it under control. And let's face it, it's hard to come to a decision about anything when there is more then one person in charge. (grumbles of agreement) But you (turns to Alex and takes her by the shoulders looking her right into the eye)You will bring order to chaos and bring a family back together.

Alex - (uneasy) Look I'm kind of tired. The voices are getting loud again. Can I just go to my room?

Apollo - Oh yeah sure

Persephone - I would like to show her if I could.

Demeter - I will join you.

Persephone and Demeter escort Alex to her room. Apollo looks to Aphrodite pleadingly

Apollo - They are going to ruin everything! Demeter never liked that girl!

Aphrodite - I'll do damage control, don't worry. (follows them out)

Cut back to Eve's apartment.

Jeff - We have no idea what we're dealing with here. We don't even know if the Gods mean us harm. They haven't bothered with us for thousands of years, why start now!

Craig - There are centuries worth of stories of how they plagued mankind with suffering. You think they wouldn't want to pick up right where they left off?

Jeff - I think we need to wait and see what happens next before we can decide what move to make.

Craig - No! I am not going to sit back. I'm not going to get that comfortable!

Cut to a marble bedroom full of colourful lush fabrics and pillows. Pan over to a plush bed that Alex is rolling around on. She's shifting and moving around. Finally she sits up sighing

Alex - I can't get comfortable.

Persephone - Too hard?

Alex - Too soft!

Persephone - (smiles) You'll get used to it

Alex - I don't think I'm cut out for the god life.

Aphrodite - (walks in) Oh don't tell me you don't like your room. We've been preparing for you for months.

Alex- Whoa whoa whoa. You've been expecting me?

Aphrodite - Sure.

Alex - Apollo told you everything? About what was happening to me? (looks to her relatives who all nod not seeing the problem) Well thanks for telling me!! I had no idea what was going on! I was scared to death! It would have been nice if one of my "family" had have told me what was going on.

Demeter - We thought it best you came of your own free will. We did not want to pressure you in case you did something rash.

Alex - Like go to Eve?

Persephone - (goes over to hug Alex) I wanted to tell you I swear.

Alex - (backs away quickly) Yeah I'm sure.

Aphrodite goes to hold Persephone back shaking her head indicating it's not a good idea to hug her.

Aphrodite - We understand you're still pretty mixed up about this whole thing. (goes over to a mirror and starts primping) This is a very hard time for you. I mean, coming here is a big transition and after your friends tried to . . .well you know

Alex - You sure keep an eye on everything don't you.

Aphrodite - We need to get your mind off this whole gods thing . . . no pun intended.(smiles suddenly and whips around) I know!! Let's have a slumber party!

Alex - Let's not. (falls back on the bed)

Persephone - Then what do you want to do? You can have anything you want here.

Alex - (sighs and moves over and leans on her arm) I want to make this clear. As soon as the gods are reborn I'm going back to New York.

Persephone - And what kind of life will you have? There's nothing left for you there.

Alex - Yeah, after I was manipulated into a situation where I had to turn my back on my friends and turn to the only people in the universe who could help.

Persephone - (comes down and sits beside Alex) You know, once the Gods are re born Hades will take control over the underworld again. That means your father's essence can be free. His power won't be needed to keep Tarterous shut anymore. He will be here with us.

Alex - (gets up off the bed and stands with arms crossed to look at Persephone) Oh yeah! What's going to happen when your husband Hades comes back? Are you, me and "dad" going to be a happy little family?

Persephone looks away unsure to answer

Demeter - She will go to Hades of course. She was promised to him first.

Persephone - Mother!

Aphrodite - Uh oh!

Alex - (turns around and faces the taller woman) Right! Grandma! Of course you'd take Hades side. Weird considering he kidnapped your daughter and all. And you've got the nerve to get all pissy because I was born?!

Demeter - (does not falter) Opinions change. I see you've become quite a remarkable young woman.

Alex - Because I'm the vessel right? Because I'm going to bring your brothers back?

Demeter - (sighs) Human life was our greatest creation. But now, in many ways they have evolved beyond us. Its time we resolve to do right by them now. With the strongest of us returned, we will have new power to finally do things the way they were meant to be done. You can help us. You can show us a new way if you stay with us after the re birth

Alex just scoffs as she glares at Demeter. This is when Aphrodite interjects.

Aphrodite - Why don't we just leave Alex to get some rest huh?

Alex - Yeah I need to unpack

Persephone - You don't need to do that! We have servants . . .

Alex - Please!! I need to do this alone

Persephone a little dejected nods. She, Demeter and Aphrodite leave the room closing the doors behind them. Alex opens her suitcase. On the top of the pile is a photo. It is a photo of Alex, Eve and Craig. Alex walks over to the nightstand and sets the photo down. She looks at the photo for a moment then slams in face down on the table.

COMMERCIAL

Cut to Craig, Morgan and Jeff, James and Eve still sitting in Eve's apartment. Morgan slaps her knees and stands up

Morgan - Well, I don't know about the rest of you but I getting restless. How about we get to work!

Craig - Finally, someone is on my side. I'll get some weapons and we'll develop a plan . . .

Morgan - Whoa Cowboy! I don't know what you are thinking of but I was talking about demon hunting.

Craig - Demon hunting?!

Morgan - What about you Eve? You game?

Eve - I guess we should get something done

Morgan - Good. I've got to blow off some steam.(gets up walks over to the closet and pulls out some weapons.)

Craig - We could be dealing with the rebirth of the Olympian gods in a few weeks and you want to go out a deal with the least of our problems

Jeff - We don't know anything about the Gods or their intentions but what we do know is that there are demons out there and they are stealing souls and opening up hell mouths. I say we deal with what we know.

James comes over and hands both men a sword.

James - It might do us some good to work out our anger and frustrations on the demons rather than each other.

Morgan walks over to Eve who is still slouched on the couch.

Morgan - Eve? (holds out the chakram) Are you ready?

Eve stands up and lazily takes the chakram

Eve - I guess.

Craig - Yeah sure, we go out and work while Alex is probably being waited on hand and foot.

Cut to Alex walking along the marble hall holding a lot of heavy boxes. Suddenly about a dozen servants run over to her and take the boxes off her hands.

Alex - Wha . . ?

Just then all servants get down on their knees and starts bowing up and down. Alex is looking at them strangely when Cupid comes over. He doesn't notice anything wrong.

Cupid - Hey.

Alex - What . . .what are they doing?

Cupid - Groveling. They're servants, they do that.

Alex - I don't want them to.

Cupid - Just walk away. They usually stop and do their own thing if you do.

Alex gives the servants one last strange look before walking away with Cupid

Cupid - Why were you doing that heavy lifting anyway?

Alex - I guess I'm just used to do things for myself. (sighs) Am I really going to bring order to chaos? It doesn't look so chaotic around here, in fact you seem to be handling things pretty well.

Cupid - I think you know as well as anyone that when you lose someone close to you nothing is ever the same again. You only go on, adapt to make life work because you have to. On the surface everything looks fine but inside you never know when you might lose control.

Alex - Sometimes I forget that the Gods have feeling like the rest of us.

Cupid - It has been two thousand years but with the recent death of Ares and the entrapment of Evander, it brings all those feelings back. When we heard that you became the vessel and we were going to get the most powerful and wise of our family back, we knew that this was a chance to start fresh.

Alex - Do you really want to change? Can the Gods change?

Cupid - Some of us are more open to it then others. I'm sure the Gods within you have come to appreciate life and want to change.

Alex - How do you figure?

Cupid - Because I wanted to change just from meeting you only once.

Alex smiles as Cupid puts his arm around her giving her a small hug. This is when Apollo materializes in.

Apollo - Hogging the vessel are we?

Cupid - (rolls his eyes) Something wrong with talking to my cousin, Uncle?

Apollo - Of course not! But I thought you might want to know that one of your sons is doing that flying/arrow thing again

Cupid - (confused) What?

Apollo moves aside and gestures over to where a small child with wings is chasing all the gods around trying to shoot them with arrows.

Cupid - Ah man!!! Psyche's going to flip!!!

Cupid runs over to stop the madness. Apollo moves Alex aside and talks to her. In the background we see Cupid chasing his son around.

Apollo - Adjusting well?

Alex - (shrugs) It takes some getting used to.

Cupid - (voice far off) AH HA!! GOTCHA!!

Apollo and Alex watch as Cupid and his son materialize away

Apollo - Finally!! The little brat was getting arrows all over my throne room.

Apollo takes Alex over to the three thrones. Apollo lounges comfortably in the middle one.

Apollo - Take a load off

Alex gives Apollo a confused look before sitting on the throne that is surrounded by wheat and flowers.

Apollo - Oooh Demeter's throne. How challenging! Heard you two got into it.

Alex - It wasn't like that

Apollo - I hope she didn't upset to too much. As the goddess of hearth and harvest she is very attached to old ideas of family and home.

Alex - Naw it's cool.

Apollo - And Cupid, he's a trouble maker.

Alex - What's your beef with Cupid?

Apollo - (rolls his eyes) Well I might have , sort have, insulted him. He took it way to personally and shot me with an arrow making me fall in love with Daphne.

Alex - Hestia's disciple?

Apollo - Yeah. (begins ranting again) I've suffered a lot of heartbreak with that chick. She got all upset thinking I made her give up her oath after I helped her out. So she goes all wail like to Hestia who then goes to Zeus, and he turns her into a Laurel Tree. Can you believe that? (gets really distressed) And it's been nothing but heartbreak after that. I mean not only does my family die but all my lovers get totaled and then you go and kill my favorite servants. I mean, I know they tried to kill you but they were my boys. I was pretty upset when you killed my boys.

Alex - I'm sorry!

Apollo - (gets over it and shrugs it off) Eh. What are you going to do? I moved on, got more servants but there was like a ten- minute period when I was just . . . inconsolable.

Apollo jumps off his throne leaving Alex with a bewildered look on her face.

Cut to Craig and Jeff walking along the park armed and on guard. Craig is still prattling on.

Craig - I wish I could get my hands on some of the pieces from the orb when it broke. If I could find out what kept the Gods in there we might be able to find a way the neutralize them. We just have to find a way to get Alex . . .

Jeff - Do the words obsessive-compulsive mean anything to you!! Man! No wonder we can't find any demons. They can't stand to hear you go on.

Craig - The ruthless, selfish and petty reign of the gods can tip the scales to evil indefinitely. Lucifer will have free access to turn earth into another hell. It's the kind of thing I've been trying to prevent for almost ten years and we are on the brink of it!

Jeff - Do you know that? I mean really, how do you know??! Huh? Are you even listening to yourself? You have no idea what will happen. Our best bet is to keep on doing what were doing, get some sleep and re group.

Craig - I can't do that. We could be staring death in the face as we speak!!

Cut to a close up of Alex's face. She cocks her head to the side for a minute. We cut to Alex looking at Circe.

Alex - You know for death, you don't look so bad

Circe - Appearances can be deceiving. You would be the expert

Alex - What's that supposed to mean?

Lachrymose - She means that you were very good at being able to deceive your friends for so long. They are all blaming themselves right now. I can feel their despair from here. If you were to go back to them now they would never forgive you.

Alex - (sarcasm) You're just a big ray of sunshine aren't you?

Lachrymose - (sighs) No, that's Apollo

Alex - Speaking of which . . .where is he?

Fade to another marble chamber. There are potions brewing and herbs being mixed and spells and enchantments being cast. Off to one side there is a pool to look into the see what is happening on earth. Apollo is to the side watching over several potions being brewed. He sprinkles some powder into one of them and it sparks and poufs out smoke. Alex enters the chamber.

Apollo - Ah and there's my little saviour of the Olympian Order.

Alex - Please don't call me that. (looks around) What is all this stuff?

Apollo - Welcome to our war room. We don't keep weapons in it anymore but we keep other things to make up for the powers and control we lost. We are harnessing other gifts. Hecate helped us with that. (sighs) It's nothing like it used to be though.

Alex - (picks up a vile of blue liquid) What's this? It seems familiar

Apollo - It's what my boys injected into you

Alex - What's it made from? Hines blood?

Apollo - We don't have the power to take a soul from the Elysian Fields. That was one power we never had. There are some rules that can't be broken. But with our powers diminishing we knew we had to protect ourselves in other ways. Hence our improved war room, where we came up with this little potion. What could possibly kill a god, what could kill the King of Gods?

Alex - The bones of Cronos

Apollo - (nods)After Zeus's death, Cronos's bones were found. They were ground into dust and mixed with sacred waters. We used a far more diluted form on you. It was meant suppress your powers, knock you out. However, you have the powers of many gods inside of you, you weren't suppressed for long and the gods came out in full force to protect you.

Alex - I'll be honest, I'm not really feeling the love.

Apollo - Which brings me to another problem. We still have to deal with Eve and your friends.

Alex - They're not my friends . . . not anymore.

Apollo - And they're more inclined to kill you now. There will be a point in time where you are vulnerable and we can bet they'll come for you. We need to protect you.

Alex - What are you talking about?

Apollo - We need to deal with Eve and those other mortals. Permanently

COMMERCIAL

Eve is walking through the cemetery. She walks aimlessly, without purpose and without focus. She is in a daze, lost in her thoughts. James and Morgan linger behind.

Morgan - She's completely out of focus.

James - Can you blame her? Some of the things Alex said were pretty harsh and not exactly untrue.

Morgan - The last time she was like this she had some weird vision dream thingy that gave her a new lease on life. Do we have to hit her on the head or something?

James - It's different this time. Its not about accepting her destiny. I care about Alex. She is my friend! But if Craig is right and the Gods want to bring suffering among humanity, the only way to stop that may be to kill Alex. Eve is the Messenger, sworn to protect life and now she might have to kill a friend to do it.

Eve continues walking on. A lone tear runs down her cheek.

Fade from Eve to Alex on Mount Olympus who is punching hard on a punching bag in her room. She punches so hard and so fast she breaks the bag. Sand spills all over the floor.

Apollo - (appears in a flask of golden light) Nice

Alex - What do you want?

Apollo - Have you come to a decision about what you want to do?

Alex - Trying to work that out. Can't you tell?

Apollo - Perhaps if you really want to work things out maybe you'd like to try something a little harder.

Cut to a cave like setting. Alex and Apollo are standing at the entrance to this cave, Alex has her mouth hanging open is surprise. We pan around to two huge ogres standing there with clubs in their hands.

Cut to Eve as she is walking along in the park. She is lost in her own thoughts. Two green demons come out of the bushes as she walks past and walk behind her.

Cut back to the ogres in the cave. They advance on Alex

Apollo - These are my gaming ogres. Have fun!!

Cut to Eve as the demons advance on her from behind. One grabs her around the waist pinning her arms to her side making her drop her chakram.

Cut to both ogres as they bring their club down on Alex at the same time. She jumps up between the ogres so that the clubs miss her. She flips forward and jumps down on both of the clubs making the ogres let go. Alex jumps up again and does a split kick in the air and kicks both of the ogres in the head.

Cut back to Eve who is struggling against the demon who has grabbed her from behind. The second demon moves to attack her head on. Eve lifts her feet up and kicks the demon in the chest twice then kicks it across the face.

Cut back to Alex who faces the ogres again. They are now really mad from the kick in the head. One ogre runs at her and smacks her so hard across the face and she goes flying into the wall. Alex propels her self back up and ducks the second punch. The ogre ends up slamming his fist into the wall and getting stuck. Alex jumps up high enough so she grabs a hold of it's head and slams it into the wall knocking it out.

Apollo - (walks over to her) Ogres have always been so stupid.

Alex - What about the other one?

Suddenly they both hear a roar. The look over just in time to see a club coming towards their faces. Both Apollo and Alex go flying.

Cut back to Eve as she pushes back into a tree. The demon is winded and loosens his grip on Eve. Eve elbows it in the side, then in the other side making him let go completely.

Eve makes a run for it when the second demon sticks it's foot out and trips her. Eve falls flat on her face. She turns over quick and spins her legs around kicking the demon back and swinging her self up into a standing position.

Just as she gets up the first demon kicks her straight in the chest causing her to slam into another tree. Eve bends over winded. At this time the first demon grabs her by the hair and swings her around throwing her to the ground. Eve sees her chakram close by. She makes a move to reach for it but the second demon kicks it out of the way. They are about to both attack Eve when Morgan and James each run up and tackle down one each!

Cut back to Alex. She is just waking up to faint sounds. The sounds get louder as she comes to and her blurry vision clears. She sees the ogre swinging his club at Apollo. Apollo keeps ducking and throwing fireballs at the ogre but the ogre deflects all of them.

Apollo - NOT ME!!! YOU'RE NOT SUPPOSSED TO ATTACK ME!

The ogre lets out a huge roar and brings its club down. At this point Alex suddenly appears in front of Apollo and stops the club. Alex rips the club away and hits the ogre with it. Alex throws the club away and jumps up and punches the ogre. Alex jumps up again and bicycle kicks the ogre in the face. Alex jumps up again but the ogre catches her in mid jump and tries to squeeze the life out of her. Apollo walks up and throws a huge stream of fire that encircles the ogre. The ogre turns into nothing but ash. Alex falls to the ground unscathed and unhurt. She looks at Apollo surprised.

Cut back to Eve as she looks upon Morgan and James struggling with the demons, her chakram only inches away.

Morgan - Eve, snap out of it!!!

Eve grabs her chakram and quickly gets up. Morgan takes the demon by the arm. She spins around breaking the demons arm and then throwing it toward Eve who spins around and cuts the demons head off with the chakram. Eve spins around

Eve - James!!

James head butts the second demon back then ducks as Eve throws her chakram. The chakram slices off the demons head bounces off a tree then a rock then sails back to Eve, who catches it but wrenches her arm. Morgan and James look at her confused for this has never happened before.

Morgan - What is wrong with you?

Cut back to Alex and Apollo

Apollo - Why did you try and save me?

Alex - Force of habit I guess. If someone is in trouble I have to help. These are codes I've lived by most of my life. Even with a half dozen gods in my head, it still makes sense to me to help people. You're not a bad guy Apollo. You're just desperate to have your family back. But I see something else it you.

Apollo - Oh yeah? Like what?

Alex - Hope. You've got the ability to change and do good. You just got to let go of what was.

Apollo - No one has ever thought about me in that way before. Not even my own father. I've known nobility from only one source my whole life, my mother. You remind me of her.

Alex - Really?

Apollo - Yeah, but it's not like I want to pick out china patterns or anything.

Fade to Eve moving her arm back and forth trying to work out the kinks.

Morgan - Eve, you have got to snap out of what ever kind of funk you're in.

Eve - You don't understand!

Morgan - That you might have to sacrifice your friend to save the world, yeah I get it! But if you're stuck on that, the world will suffer as a result. There are other people out there Eve, a world of people that need your help. You cannot be feeling sorry for yourself.

James - That's not fair, Morgan!

Eve - I'm supposed to save people? I'm supposed to guide them and protect them? How can I do that when I can't even protect the people I love? I can't trade one life for another. I won't!

Eve throws her chakram on to the ground and walks away.

Pan down to the chakram as we see Eve walk away. The scene becomes slightly transparent and we pan up to see Hestia, Apollo and Demeter watching the scene through a pool.

Demeter - I never thought she would be so discouraged.

Apollo - That may not last long. Her resolve is strong to find a way to stop this.

Hestia - It might not be her we have to worry about. It's the man, Craig.

Demeter - Yes. We've seen his resolve, he will kill her.

Apollo - You're right. They won't allow the re birth to take place. If they won't fight for Alex they will fight for a society free of our dominance.

Hestia - Is dominance what we want?

Demeter - Can we trust people to worship us as they once did?

Apollo - Whichever way it is, Eve and her friends must be stopped from interfering.

Hestia - But how?

Fade to Aphrodite and Alex. They are sitting in plush chairs in a marble hall surrounded by servants. They are getting pedicures and manicures.

Aphrodite - Do you really think Eve will try to kill you?

Alex - I don't know.

Aphrodite - It's so sad that your friendship didn't survive this. It hurts me when love doesn't conquer some things.

Alex - I don't want to kill them. Even if I could, it will only fire up their determination to not lose any more lives. Life is very important to them. It's still very important to me. . . No, we can't kill them.

Aphrodite - So what are you going to do?

Alex shakes her head but her eyes drift along to see a handsome, regal man with a long Greek nose and dark mysterious eyes.

Alex - (perks up) Who is that?

Aphrodite - Oh you like that huh!! Yeah, that's one of my creations. I call him Adonis. Women want him and men want to be him. No one can help but love him and be entrapped by his charms. I swear it's like nothing else exists when he's around.

Alex - I think I just got an idea on how to stop Eve from preventing the re birth.

Alex smiles smugly as Adonis comes over to serve her.

Fade to Black
